No, Child was on the North Stand side. Name escapes me now, Mick something.

"The Golden Generation finally has its Golden Fleece! They have Wembley Cup Final winners medals to add to their collection."

| Quote: ls28_rhino "Agree! I honestly think there will be some serious tempers flaring on Friday night and Child isn't the man to stop it happening. I would have had Silverwood or Bentham in the queue before Child.'"
Unfortunately both were already booked (Bentham - HKR/Catalans....Silverwood - Wire/Leigh). Interesting to see Hicks getting the Saints/HKR game which meant Child was originally down for none, even behind Hicks in the pecking order now it seems. Hopefully means he's finally been thought of as not good enough and should be at the bottom of the list of 6 SL refs we have. Even Joe Cobb has looked more promising than him already, he's a touch judge on Friday. Hopefully Child does what Bentham did in the last round of the cup and pull a hamstring and has to go off.

Maybe the rugby gods could strike him down and give us a better spectacle in the 2nd, although I'm hoping by the 40th minute Hull will be well n truly finished.

No requirement to do it for Cup games, unless mandated to by the RFL IIRC.

| They posted a link to it on the Rhinos' facebook page yesterday. I can't give the link now as am at work - it was a video on Youtube though, so you might be able to find it on there depending what you type in.
Was pretty much same as last week - don't remember anyone being in who wasn't last time. McGuire, Burrow and Delaney all provisionally in.

| Thing is as much as child let's things get away from him. Unlike some others he isn't afraid to show the red. Admittedly not always for sending off offences but he will show one.
We need to go out at 100 miles an hour but keep it extremely clean because I can well imagine if we can get 12-18points ahead there might be a little silly stuff.

"Leeds is the greatest club in Rugby League"
Alex Murphy 2011: |

| Quote: Andy Gilder "Walters is puzzling and infuriating in equal measure.
Not sure where the blame lies, but he's tried to pile way too muscle on way too quickly IMO.'"
I preferred last seasons speeded up version. At the moment he's got an like Oprah Winfrey. Carl Ablett looked like Twiggy when he put Walters shorts on during the blood bin sketch.

| Don't want to bag a young kid but Walters should be counting his blessings to be anywhere near the first team right now. He looked ok but too light last season, now he looks fat and rubbish.
Problem is he was a bit light last season so could support a break but not make one. Now he is too heavy to show pace but because he has put on weight and not gained strength he still isn't creating holes.
Bit of mis-management by the staff or part of a long term ploy to bulk him up?

Stevie Ward bulked up but went backwards last season. It looked like a bad move, but we're reaping the benefits now. Hoping it'll be the same trajectory with Walters though he doesn't have Ward's natural footballing ability to help him through.

Think a proper off season injury free has helped ward too. That and ward has the potential to be real top drawer quality, not convinced Walters has that level of potential.
