| Quote: nantwichexile "I think you're being a little unfair to Robbie. As far as I can see he has shown nothing but uncomplaining professionalism these last few years after been moved from his customary scrum half role. Without a doubt he does appear to be at his most effective off the bench against tiring forwards while also being ideal to slot in when either Sutcliffe or McGuire are unavailable/need resting. I hope the club can keep him but I would not begrudge him wanting regular first team starting elsewhere.
No doubt if he did move we would all be panicking when he gets his hands on the ball from dummy half in the same way the oppostion supporters/players do at the moment. Robbie is one of those x-factor players who unsettles the opposition and gets everybody on the edge of their seats.'"
I don't begrudge him it if that's what he wants, he has been a loyal and very talented player.
But if he does want to move on then fine, let him go. I dont begrudge him but neither would I be stopping him. If he thinks the grass for him is greener elsewhere then let him go find it.

| If Burow is out of contract I'd have thought someone bigger and better than Cas might show interest, though I understand why he'd perhaps want to go there.

TBF to the guy he seems wise enough that he won't think the grass is greener. I'm fairly confident he'll know his trophy winning chances will decrease if he leaves (there is no trophies left for him to win£....yet it does seem he wants to play 80 mins every week.....like I said before, you can't knock a guy for that.
If playing 80 minutes a week is what Burrow wants then
A, you can't criticise him for that
B, we can't offer him that

If all he is interested in is playing 80 mins then I don't want him or any player Iike that at the club. Sorry if that offends, I but it's true.
He has been a great servant etc... But its a team sport.
Like any player he is replaceable. Only caveat is if the club have told him they are letting him go.

Mcguires current contract ends at the end of this season, whether he's already agreed a new one is another matter.

| Add Ryan Brierley to that squad, if Leigh Centurions don't get into super league.

| losing Sinfield and Burrow and McGuire not yet signed on and bringing in a 24 year old championship halfback isn't looking particularly positive.

McGuire will be here next year I'm certain.
After that it'll be interesting to see just how many signings will be made throughout the upcoming months, because when you include all the guys out on loan too then the 'outs' list at the end of 2015 is potentially looking quite big.
Sinfield
Peacock
Leuluai
Burrow
Keinhorst
Duckworth
L.Briscoe
Foster
Tonks
Minns
Chris Clarkson (forgot about him, technically still our player but can't see him returning)
The only ones I can see that are out on loan/DR still having a future here are Mulhern, Baldwinson, Minchella. There's a possibility the likes of Keinhorst and Tonks could still be Leeds 'players' next year but realistically they won't be involved. If Moon isn't fit for this weekend and Keinhorst still can't make the squad then that pretty much confirms his future at the club.

I'd like us to sign him but cannot see GH being happy with a big 'IF' like that as having to wait until September to see if Leigh come up is surely far too late in the day to then court other HB signings IF indeed we are looking to bring in another HB?
At this stage with Sinny going, you'd also think GH knows if Burrow is going to be offered a new deal or if indeed he's already informed the club that he's going, in which case another HB signing would make sense but surely we can't put 'all our eggs in one basket' on Brierley and then find out in September that he's staying with Leigh because they've got promoted.
Our 'second' choice will probably by that late stage have already done a deal with another club in which case we lose out on two potential targets.
