Exactly.
If this match had not been on TV Moon would have probably not been sent off IMO.

| Had a look at Sutcliffe's try again. Hohaia tries taking his head off with a swinging arm, fortunately he fails but must worst intent than Moon.

For me whether on the pitch or off it the punishment must reflect the action not the result. It appears more and more punishments are being (or planned to be with Careless Driving for example) meted out on the results.

Well like previously mentioned on the Moon incident I think it was that Percival stays down that leads him to go to the VR. Aiton gets up from Soliloa's so no big deal it seems.
Hohaia ends up swinging too high as Sutcliffe's diving for the try otherwise Sutcliffe could've been following Percival off the pitch. No attempt to properly tackle the player, just the hope that you make him drop the ball, similar to what Thurston tried on Hall in a Four Nations a few years back.

| Moon's third man in, not really affecting the tackle. Percival comes through Bailey a bit more than he anticipated and the head goes into his shoulder. There's clearly no intent or malice - ergo yellow card absolute maximmum.
But if we're going to say that's a red then Soliola & McCarthy-Scarsbrook should both have walked for their late high shots which were clearly intentional and malicious.
That said, 'this sintellins team' managed lost the period they had a man advantage 12-11. With 13 on the park we would have been out of sight.
Hubcab champions they may be, but their season will end in the first two weeks of the playoffs.

So what? I hate it when people try and hide behind this.

| Considering it was 2 - 2 at the point of the sending off, there is no way to predetermine the outcome.
Saints ourselves have had a man sent off in the past and still gone on to win it with just 12 men.
Also we managed to win it at Saints this year, with many players missing as the young lads stepped it up.
Personally I think the GF is Leeds to lose. Most Saints fans gave up our chances of winning the GF about 2 seconds after losing Walsh for the season. Most teams operate with 2 decent halves. We went into this year with Walsh. I can't see us having the class to pass teams with 2 halves to our none. Lance can make the effort in a one off game, but over the course of 3 he will come undone as he is more a FB/Utility player.
It was a little distasteful the reaction to the sending off, more so the lack of effort to clap an injured player off the field. I thought that was something we all did regardless of the match or the team or the player injured,.

Yup for some reason, Bailey who was involved in a copy book low tackle was automatically presumed the villain by the Saints fan who were stood right in front of the action. Morons.

Not really, it's a pretty solid analysis.

Minus the incorrect knowledge of the rules regarding a shoulder charge with initial contact to the head (which doesnt rely on INTENT, no matter how many times its said). He also got wrong the score after the sending off as it was 2-2 at the time, so Saints won 11-10. An alternate interpretation of vents is Leeds were outscored by a team with Wellens at half back, and Jordan Turner the most creative player in the team.
Also, Im glad the leeds faithful have a telepathic knowledge of what goes through Saints players heads. I could go through the palava of "well the ref got this wrong against my team" as I did on VT, but as was agreed, the end result was the ref was shocking for both teams pretty equally, it wasnt the reason Leeds lost.
We may lose in the playoffs, we may not, I cant see into the future. I will say we seem a different prospect at home opposed to on the road and weve done enough to secure as many home games as possible. Were as likely to be out of the race to the gf in 2 weeks as leeds are.
