| We need to win this sort of game, IMO, if we are to stay in contention for a top 2 and a nice home play-off tie. I don't think we'll get an easy time from Wakey though. If Wakey did decide to take their foot off the gas and give us an easy ride then I'd happily take that at this point in the season (not great for spectators but good for squad freshness and points difference). Can't really see them doing that though.
Leeds by 8.

| that was appalling. mcguire stunk the place out. as captain, and a senior player, he hid all game. one good kick was his contribution.
mulhearn was good for the last 4 or 5 minutes he got on for.
peacock grafted, silly penalties aside aiton worked hard. the rest?
rubbish. absolute rubbish and the coach should take massive stick to.
no game plan, no structure, nothing

| I hope he can find some resemblance of form as it is just embarrassing at the moment.

Wasn't appalling, just frustrating.
We weren't overall bad, just lack of anything good.
Defence....ok but needed to stop the offload more. Attack.....ok getting up the field, but unimaginative to split open the defence.
Penalties for laying on/holding were non existence and softly given.
McGuire wasn't great but he never hides IMO (sometimes I wish he would)......Sutcliffe is the one still hiding too often.
Not sure how you can say Mulhern was good considering how little time he was on.
Delaney and Bailey disappointed considering they were older heads out there. Thought Robbie Ward was worthy of more game time. BJB again comes up with one piece of great play but the rest is poor. Briscoe looks timid and almost reluctant to return the ball.

| Good job we fluked the win against Catalan last week as otherwise after this weekend, assuming both Wigan and Huddersfield win we would have been down to 7th!!!

Think that's unfair on BJB. Was generally safe under the high ball and was our only running threat. Hardaker would probably have stopped the second Wakefield second try but not many other fullbacks in the league would have.
Was very disappointed with Delaney and Stevie Ward. We missed Ablett badly, partly because he can make his own breaks and partly because Moon and Hall didn't get any ball (thanks to McGuire and Delaney, largely). Watkins and Briscoe look really short of form. On the positive side, Peacock was his usual, Aiton and Walters impressed in defence, and Robbie Ward looked bright.

Regarding Delaney, why don't they just revert him to loose again. He did fine there earlier in the year and Walters could've started 2nd row......baffling.

I'd say it's more Sutcliffe can't control the game because of the more experienced players on the pitch, not much he can do till he's let to, although I completely agree about Briscoe. Looked exceptional to start with but has tailed off a lot since then.

| Abysmal performance by the Rhinos.
The conditions didn’t help but Wakey handled them better.
For what its worth here’s my player assesment out of 10
Ben Jones-Bishop 7
Tom Briscoe 4
Kallum Watkins 6
Joel Moon 4
Ryan Hall 7
Danny McGuire 3
Ryan Bailey 5
Paul Aiton 7
Jamie Peacock 7
Stevie Ward 5
Brett Delaney 5
Liam Sutcliffe 5
Elliot Minchella 4
Josh Walters 6
Brad Singleton 4
Robbie Ward 6
Rob Mulhern 5
Very poor performance by Danny McGuire but he wasn’t the only one. Collectively not good enough
Plenty of Leeds players need to have a good look into the mirror and the coach is included in this. I hope it sparks a seminal moment in Leeds’s season. They need to put things right in the next game attitude wise. As for Phil “I’m in Love with Wigan” Clarke, how unprofessional was he?

He's named in the halves, he SHOULD go out and control things more. Hardaker for example in a pivot position never striked me from the start of lacking the confidence to go out and get involved in games, he grabbed the chance straight away to stamp his mark on the team......Sutcliffe hasn't.

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

| Not sure what either half back contributed tbh is Sutcliffe really a half back?
Wakey deserved their win on the balance of play crowd looked bigger than 4.6k
Our attack looked very flat tonight no threat no innovation no style this has to improve.
BJB always has brain fart the run towards the line with <5 mins to go was silly he needed to go inside, another great try
