What drugs would you suggest only improve performance on match day?'"
It is definitely true that training longer and harder doesn't improve performance these days. In fact it would probably have the opposite effect.
What I meant was that players don't take performance enhancing drugs to do better in training, they take performance enhancing drugs to do better on the pitch.

Tipped right.

Only because Sinfield was missing.
Good drama at the need, but awful performance yet again. Just not getting better. We have the best defensive fullback going, and the worst who is filling in for him. Some awful defending all round though.
Deserved the win in the end due to all the poor referee calls. However first half we were completely outplayed.
Delaney was really bad first spell, then excellent in his second. Ward was superb in replacing Delaney. Walters does look to be improving all the time. Peacock was just brilliant second half. Luke Briscoe showed great enthusiasm at the end there which gave the team a lift. Aiton had good second half, and Hall had great last 15 mins of game. Moon was dangerous with ball and should have been switched to the halfs. McGuire tried so hard.

| A game we had no right to win, we could not defend on our try line, ever thy one of their try's was scored inside our 20. But we played well last 20 mins draw would have been fair result. McGuire did try hard but was awful at times. Sutcliffe is a massive prospect but has a
One way to go yet. Luke briscoe has looked useful so far.

| A lucky lucky win, the sort of luck I'd prefer to save for the Challenge Cup. To be fair it's our lack of discipline that let us down today (or bloody poor reffing). We couldn't defend any of the penalties which we conceded. Don't know what Tom Briscoe is adding to the back line at the moment, when Hardacre returns he must be ready for the chop.
Leon Price what a star!!

| The Pryce is right.
How good was it to see him so gutted at the end?

Think Bailey would've been at loose anyway with Sutcliffe on the bench for L.Briscoe.
When Leuluai was ruled out I think Bailey should've been moved to prop with Delaney to loose and either Achurch or Ward at 2nd row.
Speaking of Achurch thought he was more like the iffy 2013 version today. BJB whilst scored a good try was very poor as a last line of defence. Watkins and Briscoe again were pretty quiet. Also Singleton in defence, his reading of the play still worries me.
On the other side I thought Moon and Hall had strong games. Stevie Ward also looked good, as he did in his outings against Leigh and Hudds so can find himself unlucky to have missed out last week and was meant to miss out today, but on the other hand Walters who is keeping him out showed up well again. We got the more switched on version of Bailey today.
Overall I thought in attack we were ok (until we got the final 10m when we lacked ideas). Defensively we just seemed to lack concentration, not properly wrapping up attackers, not being alert in the A marker position, buying dummies and not being alert enough to the ball back inside.
Some poor tries conceded, mentioned how poor BJB was for a few but shouldn't have reached him in the first place I suppose. Also Catalans can say the same themselves, whilst good work by Ablett to score it was criminal from their defence to allow that to happen and whoever threw that pass for Moon's intercept should hang his head in shame.
One final note, Hicks is bloody awful.

| Hicks was truly awful - made so many wrong calls both ways - I thought we were on the wrong end of a number of bad calls in the first half but then he seemed to make just as many bad calls in our favour in the second half.

Surely the worst was giving the Catalans last try, which looked forward, but more important to allow the kick from at least four yards further infield than it should have been.

| What position was Coach Guisset playing?
He was on the pitch coaching the Dragons more than their subs.
It was an absolute joke, still no doubt Hicks couldn't see him he missed nearly all their off sides.

| Didn't notice the kick position for the last Cats try and it's difficult to see forward passes from the Western Terrace (although there does seem to be a number of supporters round me that have 'panoramic vision').
Always think Hicks looks out of his depth when he's in field - much better when he's got a little flag in his hand.

Surprised the coaching staff who came on the field were allowed to wear yellow t-shirts to be honest given our kit for the day.
.............
Regarding the last Catalans try......meh. We've been awarded much dodgier looking tries than that. The TJ that side could've pinged us once or twice in the first half whilst down there for dodgy looking short passes from McGuire to Ablett.

| Looks like Pryce has been indulging in too much French cuisine since moving to France, it was hard to distinguish between him and Taia.
