And on the subject, Brett Delaney....if you're going to come steaming in when the ruckus kicks off (like he did last night), actually do something, rather than bottle it when an opponent squares up, as he usually does!!

I think this is a massive exaggeration to be fair and certainly didn't warrant JP's response! Not saying it was the cleanest of tackles, but certainly no worse than a hatful of shots JP has been on the end of this season (in bigger games, from tougher players), yet he's never responded in such fashion before now |

Agree on the latter point to be fair, we did pick up after the incident!!
I'm not criticising JP chinning anyone, rather the fact he picks and chooses his battles. Would just rather see him take a swing against the likes of Benny Westwood, LMS, Gaz Hock, Micky Mac etc, then second rate championship players, who've hardly done anything! |

So you want one of our leading players to just chin one of the players you dislike, just for the sake of it?
There is a difference between just punching someone, and being provoked. There has to be something to mitigate the offence, no matter which team, or division they play in. |

I think the difference between the mcillorum one and the one on Friday night is that the first was a huge than legal tackle, which is part of the game, just getting a little excited.
On Friday peacock was on the floor, the tackle completed, and he was attempting to get up, then he gets a forarm in the face, then a head in his face.
An act of deliberate aggression, and he got his comeuppance
