| Tony disrespects everybody, his own team, its players, the opposition team and players, RFL, SL, East, Miners, Ale, M62 - simply anything and everything. He is very consistent

| I imagine Leeds could 'rest a few' although when we played Wigan St Pats in round 3, think we were full strength. Hopefully what happened at Wakefield a few years ago won't happen this time, as when we got there Neil Kelly fielded a 'weakened' Centurions side, we got absolutely stuffed !!!

| I don't understand all this talk of resting players. Totally disrespectful to Leigh.
They are in form (you can argue it's only in the championship' but wining breeds confidence) and will lift again with it being the Cup and a chance to test themselves against SL opposition, given they have a desire to be playing in that comp with the new structure coming in.
IF we were playing with confidence and form ourselves, then yes, they'd probably give us a good game for 60 mins or so but IMO IF we play as bad as we did against Wire then Leigh could well cause an upset
I believe we need our top team out for this, both to best guarantee us getting through but also so those same players can 'right the wrongs' of the performance on Friday.

| Kylie & JP have been working their off the last 5 games. They need a rest. Kirke, Bailey, Singleton & Mulhern should be adequate for Leigh.
Remember as well, we have a short turnaround to Huddersfield at home. It's vital we give our key players the rest they need for that game.

I'm sorry! I just canot understand why anybody would shift the best [iRECENT[/i FB the club has ever had out of position to accommodate an inferior player in the same position !!!! For gawd's sake now treat Hardaker a senior player in a firmly claimed position that should be considered his own. Would you consider playing McGuire at FB? Peacock in the second row? Burrow (if fit) at hooker?

| I wouldn't make too many changes.
JP and Kylie rested Bailey and Delaney to replace them.
Ablett either rested or banned and bring in Minchella.
Sutcliffe for McGuire with Sinfield to SH.

| McDermott has never seemed that keen on playing a lot of kids at the same time, and the CC might be tinpot to some but not to Leeds. None of our current squad have won it (except Peacock with the Bulls), so I would expect them all to want to play to make sure of the win. As with every recent season, I fully expect the CC to be an absolute priority for our senior players.

| Play our strongest lineup. There is a 6 day turnaround to huddersfield so no different to most weeks. Leigh game is more important than the huddersfield game at this stage of the season anyhow.

Actually, no it isn't.
What we have shown so far this season is we can beat our top rivals at home, but we are struggling away from home against them. Finishing above them in the league and having an home draw in the play offs, on that basis, is vitally important.
Can you imagine Wigan putting a full team out against Leigh. I mean come on, let's be serious here. It would be poor management to be that conservative.

| Kylie is more than deserving a week off, with a physical Huddersfield week after, seems a logical time to give him a week off.
Alot of people seem to think 'oh its only Leigh so let Kirke play'. Regardless of the opposition you cant reward that performance (that verged on gross misconduct) with a spot in the blue and amber the week after. Surely?

| Bookies giving Leeds a 28point handicap, surely you guys will be hammering that? Sounds too good a price to be true. Dont think Leigh fans are under any illusions of the outcome, to be within 28 at full time would be decent.

I didn't see the wire game but if it was as bad as described on here we need a major improvement even to beat Leigh. BM has selected strong lineups against weaker sides than Leigh in the past and I expect similar this week.
Whilst stating the obvious we cannot afford to lose this week, next week means little in the long run.

Having watched the game after the event, I would say the performance was not as bad as described on here. We didn't control the ruck very well and got punished. We seemed to lack ideas in attack too. I can't see eitehr being a major problem against Leigh, no disrespect to them

| we should play a virtual 2nd string, its not about disrespecting Leigh, but more about some of the highly touted youngsters we have getting a chance to not only get some game time, but to step up and take control of a game, to be responsible for a performance and not be able to look at a Peacock or a Kylie to make that big hit or bust a tackle to change momentum, to not be able to look to Sinfield or Mcguire to manage the game but to do it themselves. Its an opportunity for them to experience the mental growth that comes from being the leaders and not the followers.
If the likes of Singleton, Sutcliffe, Ward are going to be the players we hope then they should be able to stand up in a game like this.
BJB
Briscoe
Watkins
Moon
Handley
Sutcliffe
Mcguire
Mulhern
Clarkson
Singleton
Delany
Minchella
