Ok. Didn't know when you made the post and thought it referred to the second try.

No worries mate.
I thought the benefit of the doubt reference would have made it clear I was talking about the benefit of the doubt .
Edit...
Having read your post again we are talking about different trIes.

It's strange but when I was saying about the refs been bent I was laughed off here, suppose it depends who the calls are going against.

I'll just quote what I was told the refs are not biased and do a very tough job, some calls go against ya but evens itself out over the 80 minutes.

Best team won get over it, I'm over Wigan beating us now, they were best team as well, good luck in the losers playoff

Refs aren't bent.
They are inconsistent.

a026.gif What I can't understand with the BOTD is the VR doesn't have the same access to the game as the muppets do in the studio ie the zoom picture, surely it's the same sky cameras or is he looking at it through his own camcorder???

As for Briers the guy is a coward there's no doubt he should have been sent from the field if not permanently and if my interpretation of the rules are correct that's what should have happened or almost certainly for 10 minutes ala Bailey/Blanche the other week. The inconsistency in the officials decisions this season is bizarre, one mans sending off is another mans "don't do it again Lee"

Briers did what Bailey does on a regular basis, he's there to Wind folks up and worked a treat cos Wire won the game, Ablett has previous form for this sort of thing when Wardle got sent off against you guys for punching him (was Child the ref then too?), to be fair Ablett and Leeds got what they deserved.

Bailey has never punched someone from behind.

Quote: FLYINGPROP "he's there to Wind folks up and worked a treat cos Wire won the game'"

Wire were more wound up by the incident than leeds. Watch the resulting sets. Wire won because they were the better team, not because lee briers tried to punch one of the players in the first half.

Form for what exactly? Having the temerity to tackle briers and then stand there and do nothing?

No complaints there, leeds deserved to lose. But you don't half post some rubbish, it comes as no suprise you have an avatar of cleetus. Your opinions match your avatar.

Short memory syndrome, strange that 2 relatively quiet players (in fighting terms) such as Briers and Wardle are provoked into wanting to knock Abletts head off his shoulders.

He wound Wardle up and got a smack in the mouth and today he wound Briers up and got the same, the guy is a niggly player and wind up merchant, sometimes they get their just deserts.

Apart from winding a player up isn't a red card offence. An attack to the head is. Unless Child is ref of course

For doing what?

Explain something tangible he has done to those 2 players.

Getting under peoples skin is part of the game. If you can't see that you're an even bigger idiot than I thought. Ablett caused both players to break the rules without doing anything wrong. What's wrong with that?

Do you expect players to give each other daiseys.

More idiocy from the king of idiots.

No when child is the ref he sends someone off for an imaginary attack to the head, whilst alibert sends someone off because sinfield tells him to.
Inconsistency in these things is only a problem for Leeds fans when Leeds are on the wrong end of the decision. We've all been there and all been badly done to but sending briers off doesn't mean it would have made a difference to the outcome..... Leeds should know that by now.

Don't disagree with em Jools they are always right.

Spot on though if Leeds benefit its all hunky dory, if it goes against em woe betide anyone who dare to disagree with em.

Teddy has left the cot.
