| More to this lack of chances, could it be an attitude issue ? Can anyone remember Griffin ? Someone mentioned the height of the Leeds bar, how far as this player progressed since making his debut ? He's not he's gone backwards and I am sure Leeds want rid, happy to move him on, possible transfer fee or even if they let him go a sum off the cap to spend on a more recognised hooker ? May be we are happy to interchange I Sinfield, burrow, mcshane I don't know, what I do know is at some point we need a quality scrum half who can move us round the field and dictate play, we have the best back line by a country mile and they are starved of the ball for large parts of the game.

If I meant could i would have put it Richie. What I said is what I meant. There is always opportunities that open up.
Intact come to think of it, haven't Hull KR and Huddersfield both had hookers on loan this year? The Huddersfield one being a young kid from wire. Which was my point earlier on Wire getting their youngsters out a lot in superleague.

I know what you meant, I wasn't interpreting your post, just pointing out it's erroneous nature.

Move us around the field.....dictate play....the Kevin Sinfield role?

Then you need to open your eyes to the game rather than the club, as your knowledge seems some what limited to Leeds.

I was going to finish my first response to you with a line about how I fully expected you to respond in your usual style of disagreeing about the colour of the sky, but realised it would have been redundant.

The colour of the sky is dependent on the weather. I bet you only see blue.

| Quote: Gotcha "I have said it before and will say it again, playing at Hunslet will do absolutely nothing to develop players into super league players. It is a way of getting game time only, because they are too old for the clubs back up set ups. Playing super league is the only way youngsters will develop further.'"
yeah just ask brad singleton
the championship is clearly the most competitive league at the moment and is far more skilful then many people give it credit for. so the options are to develop in a tough league playing against grown men/seasoned (semi) pros or go to the likes of London & learn how to stand behind your own stick correctly...pretty easy choice for mine

Grey today.
The only other scenario that explains your stance of this is that you might not understand the difference between "could" and "would"

Agree here. The sport (SL and Championship) can gain a lot and really step up the quality of youth development if the dual reg system is used in the right way. Hunslet of course also works for Leeds in not needing a relocating or significant commuting time from players.

Which opportunities have opened up for a hooker with little experience that needs a long term loan for his development?

| I said from day one that Liam Hood never impressed me and i didn't expect him to break through, I know a guy who watches Hunslet regularly and he hasn't been impressed by him at all.

38511.jpg [b:3v5chy3z]Brian McDermott paraphrased Peter Fox.
