| Briscoe would be a good signing in that he is a good winger and very good when on form.
For me though the priorities have to be the pack I'd like to see Singleton continue here and evelop into 1st choice with the likes of Baldwinson Tonks and Minchella eventually coming through.
However i still see gaps when we lose JP ,Kylie and imo we should release kirke and Moore although i see the latter departing anyway.
As for the Hooker situation that position can sealed for the next 10yrs by ones already here its down to teh Coaches to develop and get the best out of them and in Mcshanes case stop dropping/benching him when he's in form.

Suffice to say I mostly (if not always) agree with you. One way or another the hooker issue needs to be better addressed than mis-selecting Burrow as a 80 min hooker.
Do you see Liam Hood much these days? At one time he was considered the better of the two.

| Hood has been doing well by all accounts at Hunslet but is still pretty raw.
I've no probs with the Burrow/Mcshane combo and leave Hood out on loan for a year next season if poss at SL level but it has to be utilised properly!

| A few seasons ago Hood was being touted as the next rising star.
I believe he is 21 now and he should be knocking on the door of the 1st team if he was fulfilling his original potential, especially when we are still playing a former scrum half as hooker, which is not working.
Either our coach has something against him, or he has not progressed as hoped and looks like ending up with a Championship team or one of the lower Super League clubs.

| Hardaker Briscoe Watkins Moon Hall would be the best back five in the SL era in my opinion.

It was the starting backline at the beginning of the first Superleague season, the halves were Henry Paul and Shaun Edwards.

| Remind me, did that backline and those halves win the competition that year?
