| Dark horse for the top eight could be London, they have on paper a very good first 17, if they stay fit espicaly Gower, I feel ST Helens may struggle was never convinced with Brown at Fartown think he could struggle there. Not convinced also about Leeds think we have to old a forward line to finish in top three, but happy to finish in spot number five again and four weeks later to see Sir Kev pick up his old friend. Would like to meet the Wigan in the final.

Well he's Choker Brown for a reason. Now at Saints who if get to Grand Finals choke. Some may say it's a match made in heaven. Terrible appointment by Saints.

| Warrington have exactly the same side as last year, but the likes of Briers, Morley, Monaghan & Hodgson are all a year older. Still a tough side, but not what they were last year.
Wigan have several key losses with Finch, Leuluai, Lima & Carmont all gone. Given their replacements are Blake Green, Matty Smith, Scott Taylor and Iain Thornley, I can honestly only see one position where they tread water. Will fall away this year.
Saints are improved with the addition of Manu and Turner, and have a host of good kids coming through. That said, with Choker Brown in charge, and their recent rep as 'nearly men', it's going to be tough.
Hull have made some good additions, but really? I don't look at their side and see a particularly frightening team, certainly not one that we should be losing to.
At LS6 we've effectively gained another top second row (Ablett), by bringing in a better left centre (Moon), we've added in the forwards (Achurch), and have the likes of Ward and McShane who should really be nailing down a place in the side this year.
Honestly, I reckon it's a three way fight between us, Wire and Saints for the LLS. Wigan, Catalans and Hull to fight over 4-6, Wakey a comfortable seventh and then Huddersfield, Bradford & Hull KR vying for the 8th spot.

| On Warrington, yes the likes of Briers, Morley etc are a year older but also players like Harrison, Hill, Myler, Ratchford have a year more experience

| My prediction:
Saints
Wire
Leeds
Hull
Wigan
Cats
Wakey
BULLS
Hudds
London
HKR
Cas
Widnes
Salford
And come the season's end you'll be reading allegations by apoplectic Wigan fans that despite their finishing fifth the road to OT was much harder than it was in 2012, mainly because the top four comprised better teams than it did a year previously.
