Were you at the game NE?
If you had been my recollection is that after the PTB when McGuire was tackled, we whipped the ball to the right, through & past the broken defensive line that McGuire's break had caused allowing Watkins to score easily.
Would the McGuire of old have scored on the break probably; did he panic & throw a speculative pass? No.
Did we score as a result of the break? Yes.
Therefore, in my book, McGuire has no cause to apologise.
Least of all to anybody on here.

If we're going to get that picky, why is BJB more likely to knock on at the PTB than Hardaker is to drop a pass? |
