Having no children, that is something I had not thought about. Maybe Sky have not thought of that either, but more likely they do not care. RL seems to be different to football, having more of a family atmosphere. But I wonder how many children that attend will be below the age that it would matter if they had a late night once in a while on a school night?
Quote AdmiralHanson="AdmiralHanson":2a255cjf2) Whilst not against MNF in itself, it seems a shame that every year the fixtures are issued, the come with a free bottle of tipp-ex to cover all the changes. Why these sort of things couldn't be sorted BEFORE the official fixture lists are published are anyone's guess

In an ideal world it shouldn't make any difference what day of the week the fixtures are on.
Quote AdmiralHanson="AdmiralHanson":2a255cjf3) Whilst at the moment, it is a local fixture with little travel involved for either side, how long will this last ? Are we going to be looking at a Widnes or London away trip on a Monday night going forward, because I trust the edicts of SL and the RFL about as far as I could throw them.'"
To me that is the biggest problem. As I said before it shouldn't matter to much to most fans if they are travelling Monday or Friday, but will attendances falter, especially with all Monday fixtures televised? Definately. What affect will this have on clubs finances? A positive due to the TV income, or a negative for low attendances?
