Could Ambler become available? When's his contract up?

Moore will move you forward. With Singleton, Amor, Ambler in the wings a 3 year deal to a 30 year old who has had a patchy career won't fill anyone with excitement. hopefully this isn't our signal of intent over the next 3 years.

Underwhelming is an understatement but will reserve final judgement until he plays for us. He's probably an adequate replacement for Burgess in playing terms but at his age, not to mention his chequered career and injuries/illnesses, this is a big risk IMO.

Hope we've got better players lined up to be announced.

Exeter how can Moore be an improvement on Burgess??
One is 30 yrs old with his best behind him and has jealth and temperement issues and theother has at least 6yrs left at the top and is a much better player!
If he was here as a stop gap 1 yr maybe 2 at most then maybe but 3 yrs and we've retained Kirke??
Much prefer Griffin with Amor and Ambler given chances and then Singleton to come in for the odd game.

I actually think its a decent signing, definately a better option than Griffin. Moore is nasty and takes it to the other pack and I think that's what we've been missing. If we give Bailey another deal which in my opinion is a no brainer given his recent form that should be it for the pack and would just expect the club to bring in a hooker/half back and a centre.

Moore is a better option than Burgess for the simple reason that he wants to be here and isn't trying to move to Australia. True story.

He's fine. He's an ok player. Possibly even a bit better than OK. But he is not the sort of signing we should be making. For a start, we didn't need any more props. Not with Ambler/Amor returning too.

Secondly... I think most fans have accepted that we're "transitioning", that's fine. We might not really be challenging for stuff for a season or two whilst rebuilding a squad. I don't really agree with that, you don't see Manchester United or Barcelona "transitioning" but fine. It's happening. Somebody explain to me how signing a 30 year old, who's never once looked anything like a world beater, on a 3 year contact is helping with that?

Either sign older quality with his best years behind him to train the youngsters and get us through the short term, or sign someone that needs developing and has his best years ahead of him for the future to represent the longer term. He is neither.

Griffin is better than Moore I've seen both at wakey. The wakey fans dislike Hudds and Griffin so for me to say that must be pretty certain.
