Well, this one hasn't finished so, yes. the last two full season's were 2010 and 2009.
Alternatively, from July 2009 to July 2011 is two full seasons.

More fogknitting I see from you.
Where did I say full seasons?
Last two seasons are 2010 and 2011. No fogknitting can put a different slant on that.

Meh what does Buderus know?
Seriously I don`t think he is the sort of person to big him self up by saying we needed him and we were right to get rid of Diskin who in my opinion was not delivering like he should have been.
And yes Diskin does have the GF rings but so do one or two others in the Leeds team who again in my opinion offer little these days.

Further lack of clarity on your part. No wonder why everyone takes such an issue with your posts.
"Last" two seasons eh?
2011 is this season, not last. last two seasons were 2010 and 2009.

| Rubber-Johnny Wainhouse will be in the playing roster next season to off-set the departures of Diskin and Buderus.

| Fantastic player though he is I DID think hooker was the least of our problems with McShane and Hood as back up.
However McShane looks to have gone backwards recently ...and without the recent efforts of Buderus our present pack would look even more pathetic than it already does. Even I, as a vociferous campaigner of bringing in the kids, would hesitate to field Hood with the lack of grunt up front.
Buderus at the moment would be a HUGE loss. He leads the defence and is criminally under appreciated by some on here.
It's not his fault he was brought to the club, nor is it his fault he has persistently being under utilised as a full 80 min hooker that he undoubtedly is. I 've grown tired of seeing him taken off when competing and then brought back on when losing badly largely DIRECTLY due to his removal from the field.
Still would let him return to Newcastle.... it's the least the club could do for having him play under such an inept coaching set up.

| I think it's clear he wants to return home and although there's no doubt he'd put 100% in if he stayed i don't see the point of keeping someone who clearly wants to leave.
Lets thank him and move on ,it's time for Mcshane and Hood to be handed their chances to become the ft 9.
We all know what we achieved with Diskin and even Buderus has admitted his move wasn't handled that well in hindsight especially the no9 shirt farce but i will also add Disko peaked playing ina team at their peak whereas Buderus just past his best has mainly(when not injured) played in a team that needed freshening up.
I'm happy we showed ambition to get him but there was unrest caused and our luck ran out injury wise.
Looking at Disko playing for the bulls i'd take Buderus this year so that looks like the right call re-Diskos departure was made.
Time to move on although to release Buderus which i'm in favour of whilst we've awarded Kirke a new 2yr deal shows that serious issues need sorting re-recruitment/retention imo.

Although most of what you post is complete b0llocks, I have noticed in recent TV games, that we have a 10-15 minute patch in which we concede 2 or 3 tries which effectively lose the game. Against Wigan and Catalans this defineitely coincided with Buderus being off the pitch.
I do believe that he is not an 80 minute player (or more like its not getting the best out of him to be an 80 min player), but we definitely drop off when he's taking a breather

| He was a dumb signing. Buderus has said that himself. He obviously got sold a bit of a dud when he signed re the role he'd play with Diskin - I bet he would never have joined us if he'd known the situation.
Anyway, I'd be happy to let McShane and Hood have a go from next year. I have no doubts Buderus would continue to try his all for Leeds, as he is a champion player. But if he wants to return to Newcastle for a triumphant swansong, we shouldn't stand in his way. Unless we sign some players in key positions, next year will be all about rebuilding, and at most he'll only be here for the one season. We may be weak at hooker without him, but we are currently far weaker in other positions.

| Agreeing to release Buderus from the final year of his current contract would, you would hope, save Leeds some money. The idea that it would be re-invested in additional playing personnel is a novel one but as yet un-tested.

| Thats the part I don't understand! Given how quickly GH has shifted Burgess, Cross & Senior off the books I would have thought that he would jump at the opportunity to remove Buderus from the pay-roll - surely one of the highest earners.
I'd prefer he stayed, but given his quality sometimes I feel embarrassed for him, having to play with the useless misfits that resemble our pack at the mo. I bet he can't wait to get back home.

I reckon Leeds will let him go.
The club has missed a huge opportunity this season - at least - to have had a quality hooker alongside Sinfield (LF) leading a young enthusiastic pack ( Ambler, Amor, Singleton, Ablett, Carvill, Clarkson etc .... there IS a sub bench ) around the park to lay the foundations for McShane and/or Hood to take over a now experienced but still young future pack nucleus upon his departure. Ward could then be groomed to take over from Sinfield at LF the season after.
Still...management and coaching know best .

here
Funny isn't it ? McShane was being proclaimed to be the new Cunningham amongst the most enthusiastic of us....then McDermott pulled his regular masterstroke of dropping an in-form player ( this time in favour of Burrow on the bench, who himself looked like he was getting back to a bit of form ). He's not been the same since.
Great man management Brian
