| Issues with the stewarding are the reasons I am unlikely to renew my season ticket . Saying that though . The baldy bloke and the Indian gentleman that were patrolling our steps on Friday night were ok .
I would NEVER stop going because we were not doing so well .
I have watched us when we were really poop . As I was saying to a fellow poster on Friday .. We are looking 'average' at the mo. I don't mind 'average' at all . It is better than poop .

Don't like aveage, don't like poop but would still go when I can regardless as you can't change the team you support, and would still follow them. But I can see people point it is alot of money to pay not to be entertained, particulary in current financial times

And there in bold is the urban myth that all sporting clubs rely on - the fact that a certain number of supporters will continue to put money in the bank account regardless of how they perform or indeed how they treat you on a matchday, how bad the facilities are, how poor the beer is, how shabby the goods are in the club shop (transfers that drop off when they even look at a washing machine) - doesn't matter what they do to you, you will still keep coming back and giving them your money.
Truth is, and one day you will come to realise it, you CAN change the team you support, its easy.

Spot on MacF. Keeping the pound or 300 in the case of a season ticket firmly in your pocket, rather than merrily popping it into GH's bank account, will focus his mind a hell of a lot quicker than any amount of posting on here.

| Hope the people who're 'reconsidering' their season tickets go tbh, take the special brigade and the band with them too please.
Mine is never in doubt, I'll be there no matter what.

Do they make you buy 3 season tickets?
You must be a real porker.

I've had some great deals with the Carnegie games that I've been to this season - not had to pay for a single one

Yes, but it still isn't value for money.
I'll get season tickets for next year. It's something me and my lad do together and it's something we enjoy.
Of course, other people invest far too much energy and emotion into the results but I guess that they have a less balanced life. Would I like us to win? Yes. Will I refuse to renew if we don't? No.
I've had season tickets through much, much worse season's than this. Then again, I suspect many who will refuse to renew haven't. I guess they're like the bulls fans that arrived at Odsal when success did and then disappeared when the success dried up. We used to deride them on here.
I like watching rugby league. I have a strong affinity with Leeds, very strong, so Headingley is the best place for me to watch it.

OTOH, one could support and enjoy the game itself rather than select one particular team.
I don't believe it's compulsory to be a one-club supporter.

Could you be a one club supporter if it was a grass roots club like, say, Shaw Cross?

Nope.
Nor would I shop at one supermarket chain and purchase 11 identical items there just so that I could get 2 more free.
Law of diminishing marginal utility and all that.
