Hall is one of the best options for an England wing spot, but he has flaws to his games. Ones that opponents are picking into now. His return rate on sorting out a crossfield bomb would probably be 50/50 at best. He is very shaky here'"
BB's rugby acumen on full display with the Crusaders first try in mind.

| Quote: Keith Swiftcorn "My thoughts on this exhibition game are mixed.
England really ought to be playing France in a proper international but France aren't good enough to provide the kind of test required so they've been ditched. It's a telling comment on the current state of international RL (particularly in the Northern Hemisphere) that we are reduced to staging an exhibition game instead of a bona fide international.
If we were still playing under the GB banner, I'd have a real problem with this exhibition match. As it's England, I don't really give a toss because England as an entity means absolutely nothing to me and possesses little to no viable or historical RL international currency.
Haven't decided whether I'm going yet but if I do it'll be to see Luke O'Donnell.
I like Luke O'Donnell.'"
Exlies = Other Nationalites, which has plenty of RL history and currency ....

| Brent webb added to Exiles squad.
I make that Brent Webb, Danny Buderus and Kylie Leuluai in the Exiles from Leeds so far. and then there is the possibility of players missing for the england, such as, Ben Jones-Bishop, Lee Smith, Ryan Hall, Danny McGuire, Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and then possibly Paul Mcshane on his form at the moment.

If Jones-Bishop, Smith, McShane or McGuire are even close to being selected for England then we really are struggling.

Agree JP, sinfield and hall only Leeds players who should be considered from above list.
Although macbannana didn't appear to like to play hall last year in 4 nations

| Luke O'Donnell withdraws, no doubt the first of many. Look out for plenty of players picking up "minor knocks" in this weekend's games.

TBF he's pulled a hamstring and is out for 6 weeks... hardly a "minor knock".

What Wheels said. He withdrew from the Gnats game on Saturday.

Hardly in this weekend's games either - your pedantry standards have being slipping lately.

I've made clear my thoughts on pedantry on another thread.

| Quote: Andy R "Why is Hall only a possibly?
For me he is easily one of the better wingers in SL. I think he's been forgotten about to a certain extent but he's been one of our best and most consistent performers this year. He should be a shoe in.'"
He's playing in an expansive team and gets alot of ball and opportunities. My preference for the England wingers would be Tom Briscoe and Jodie Broughton. Broughton has exceptional strength and speed, and to be fair to him he is quite skillful too. The kid is able to shine through at Salford, which makes me think that playing for someone like leeds he would be much improved.
My opinion of course. I just feel Ryan Hall wouldn't look anywhere near as good in the Salford team.

Ahem !!!! How little do you appear to know.
You have stirred up a hornet's nest with this one.
I hasten to add I absolutely agree with you by the way.
