Here's the link from the local newspaper, although the football players name hasn't been mentioned.

I'm guessing that every case gas to be heard independently.

| So Wigan set him a fitness programme through a third party - not illegal for him to go down to his local gym everyday - he has nowt else to do?
As for training with the team - who cares, will he even get selected given the current Wigan backrow?

I may be wrong but I thin J Tompkins has played centre some of this year? Seem to recall Stevo creaming his pants over how good he played there?
If i am right (got to be a first time) maybe thinking moving him to fit Hock in???

I doubt he will continue with the young players they now have available in the 3/4s. If his form now is anything like it was towards the end of his last stint then he will not enhance the side

| Why change a succesful side for one player? Let the player become on form before putting him back into the squad

| Hock is now something like 18 stone and very fit. I suspect he will be developed as a prop forward, particularly next season with Coley retiring.

He must be massive at 18 stone!!! what was he before his suspension. If that size is accurate he would make a good prop, he had good speed and ran hard from memory?

| If he's not getting paid I don't see a problem at all. As for him being 18 stone and fit..! I'm bit sure about that. Sounds about a stone or so overweight to me. How tall is he?

| Hes not fit. Its just Rogues lying. Hock struggles to last a training session with St Cuthburts amateur team who hes training with currently. Hes totally out of shape which is why Wigan are trying to get him back training earlier.
you should all know by now to take everything Rogues says with a pinch of salt, its usually made up.

Can he go back and train with the Wigan first team without getting paid - minimum wage laws and all that?

Didnt Radlinski play for them without payment or very minimal, when they nearly got relegated??
Done his time, welcome to play, only issue i get is if he's 90% as good as when he got banned then Wigan could just be Favourites to win the Grand final(over Wire) as he's one hell of a player and could give them the just that edge(like when we got Ali)IMO he's one of the few forwards ive seen in recent years who isnt scared of the ozzies/kiwis when he plays internationally.T
Sure i'll get shot down by some but that my opinion

Not at all. He's prone to brainfarts as much as the next fella in the team, but is still a good solid player. He's also a dead ringer for Michael Schumacher.
Bonus.

To the Saints fan poster
He is fit, but maybe not rugby fit.
At a recent "test" he did the hill run, and was timed. His time was the fourth fastest of any forward currently at Wigan. When someone has been out of the game so long it will take time to get to match fitness.
Someone asked how tall Hock is.
He's about 6'2" which I think is about the same as Peacock, just to give you some idea.
