As someone who actually went to the game can I offer the following:
Wakey were excellent in the first half - they built pressure but lacked the skill to turn domination into points. Leeds defended well, especially when down to 12 but Wakey didn't really ask that many questions.
Losing the penalty count 11-4 in the first half was a reflection of Wakey's dominance - the count swung the other way has Leeds got a grip.
Watkins he is one serious talent - he makes the difficult look easy as well as his 4 tries he made one brilliant try saving tackle in the first half.
Sinfield - three brilliant assists, although I expect Webb to get the assist for the first try, his flip out the back was worth the entrance money on its own.
Burrow - how far backwards has he gone as a player - maybe he needs so time away to recharge and rethink, he bombed a 5 man overlap and minutes later through a bullet into Cross's head when soft hands would have seen a try scored.
Bailey excellent, who would have thought he might start after all this time, not Remarkable Rhino
he gave the middle some spine.
Ablett was my MOM he was superb in defense
McShane shown some real variety to his game and a nice kick that Watkins effortless turned into a try.
A hard won victory but one out completion rugby is not the way forward in attack for the Rhinos, Wakey coped easy with this when we started throwing it around they struggled.
In Dean and Johnson they look to have a good threequarter combination for the future
