It's not an unusual occurrence for an average player be selected for rep honours simply because that average player just happened to be in the right place at the right time and playing for a dominant championship-winning club side. That's how Matt Diskin, Ryan Bailey and Danny Ward got selected for GB in 2004.

Nothing happened to them other than their signing for Leeds fell outside the specific time frame I specified. 2004 being the season Leeds moved from nearly men to Champions in this particular era.
If someone wants to draw a different line and produce a larger sample then they are free to do so. |

Doesn't make good Reading. Don't have loads of confidence in kirke stepping up and leading us forward. Hope the academy props are up to it. I walked past them (the academy props) at quins game and they didn't fill me with confidence. I am sure they are good and will be but what I mean by this is they did look like boys. Lets hope we get some bodies back soon |
