Best I've seen was back in 2003 down 20-0 to saints and a plonker to my right had been screaming abuse at the lads and with 21 mins to go stomped off I often wonder how he felt when he got to his pub bemoaning the team to discover we won 30-20 .

Was it last season , or the one before when we were losing (away) to Quins , not long to go ? A few people around us left . We saw them back at the coach and we had won by maybe 10 points IIRC .
Quality moments .I never leave before the end whatever is happening on the pitch . Some of the best moments in most matches are the final moments . A last minute winner or an outstanding consolation score brought about by 'we don't give a fk cos we lost anyway' attitude .
People that leave early usually miss the best part of the game .

Who cares really if people leave early? they paid their money it is their choice. Personally I didn't see people leaving with 8 minutes left, but saw a big rush as soon as the drop goal went over. And like someone said earlier a lot do go to the corners of the ground to ensure easy get away.

Personlly I am in the middle of the aisle in the seats, so can't get out, but If I chose to, I couldn't give a 5h1t what people think who post on a message board.

Personally I would sooner have 5 or 6 hundred people in their for the game paying but leaving early, than all these posters (and many on this thread) who are quick to moan about fans, yet who don't turn up each week.

And in truth I wish the family at the end of our aisle on the inside would leave before half time, because I am sick and tired of the lads going for a pee every two minutes. Another rant over.

To get a decent seat in the long bar before it gets full and i take a 2 year old so dont want him to get crushed!

This of course being you wouldn't dream of leaving the theatre before the end of a play or leave the cinema before the film is finished... so why leave the match early, the Headingley post match traffic is not that bad!

I would rather we set up a thread complaining about that awful Vuzevalu (spelling) that sounds like it is coming from the Carnegie standing, than moan about leaving early.
