I wouldn't actually be too dissapointed at that swap. Eastwood is no doubt a special player when on the pitch and will only get better. But that's the key thing, when on the pitch, he appears incredibly injury prone.
In an ideal world you want more Greg Eastwoods if fully fit, but if he goes he goes.'"
ATEOTD it should be a privilige to play for Leeds. I'd love to play for Leeds, I'd be proud. He messed us around last year and at the time I said forget it. We pursued it and his moaning is seriously pi55ing me off.
Put the rumours to bed and get on with playing or go.

Maybe she has a decent job & doesn't want to jeapardise here career?
From what I've heard & seen of Eastwood on the tv he doesn't appear to be the sharpest tool in the box &, therefore, might be susceptible to voices in his ear. Particularly from his parents.
As for another poster claiming that it is a privilege to play for the Rhinos, get real. Overseas players are in it for the money & I'd hope the life experience of working/playing abroad.
As fans we'd regard it as a privilege & some homegrown players too but not the bulk of antipodeans.
I bet Eastwood knew nothing about Leeds till he signed on the dotted line.

| Carl Ablett and JJB would walking over broken glass to pull on the Blue and Amber. If Eastwood doesn't want to be here, they're a pretty decent 2nd row combination.

| Didn't Eastwood say he is happy at Leeds during an interview?
So is his dad calling him a liar?

Most over-rated, under achieving "potential" player running around in shorts and a rugby top.
Grass thief.

| If Eastwood does leave, and if Leeds feel the need to replace him then i would prefer them to splash the cash on a good up and coming English forward. I'm getting a bit sick and tired of these southern hemisphere lot coming over, then deciding after half a season they don't fancy it anymore. Lets not forget they'll probably get nice little relocation packages in advance of coming over to see them right.
As for a replacement as per previous, I do like the look of LMS and i think working with JP and Kylie it could make him into the player his potential has. Any other good English forwards knocking around?

It would be nice to use the cash on a world class half back and go with what we have in the backrow.

| Adam Blair, please. Replaces (and improves on) Burgess and Eastwood in one go, and gives us a pack-leader for when JP's battered body finally falls apart. Unfortunately there are no comparable Northern Hemisphere players.

Craig Huby, Elliott Whitehead, Ben Harrison, David Williams, LMS, Larne Patrick, Josh Bowden, Kyle Bibb, Dale Ferguson....are the obvious.
