Its Sky that are the problem, they are very active at attacking web site hosts for linking to their own copyright material, or at least they are very active at threatening companies that are smaller than themselves, its noticeable that they won't take on Youtube/Google for hosting the stuff in the first place.
This site was threatened by News International and asked to remove all links to Sky material which resulted in the rule of thumb of "no Youtube links" but thats not strictly enforced (not around here anyway) as long as its not a Sky copyright.
There is also a potential problem of individuals linking to videos that they have filmed using their own cameras and/or phones because legally your not even supposed to do that inside a SL ground, your admission is conditional on you not filming or photographing for public broadcast.
