I note 2 points . Our CE who hopefully can see the bigger picture, has made an offer, although whether it will be enough to keep our best hooker here for another season is a moot point.
The 2nd one, does anyone really think it's a coincidence that this story appears just as his agent hoves into view?
Who knows? There may be a twist yet.....Perhaps this guy has been influenced by the ageism arguement whilst reading these columns, and is actually here to sign up Disco!  |

I agree. I've been one of Buderus's biggest defenders on here, but I wouldn't sacrifice losing Diskin or McShane for an extra year. Diskin still has a lot to offer, and has done so much for us, the other has so much potential |

Get your point, but that worth should be on ability, rather than what he has done for us which to be honest a lot has been outside of his control.
Based on that he would be expected to be one of the top 5 earners.
Personally I am in the Buderus to stay camp. I thank Diskin for all he has done and wish him well, but would rather see Buderus on a 1 year additional contract than Diskin on a 2 or 3 year one. I think we need to change over the next 18 months, and McShane or Hood especially are the future. |
