Is your view likely to show some resurgence if the current Bulls renaissance continues?

| Personally I'd love to have seen Graham Murray given a go - he was absolutely at his best coaching players to outperform expectations, which is exactly what England need to do.
However, given the daft requirement for a full time coach (what the heck will he do for the other 8 months of the year???) then McNamara may be a reasonable choice. I'd also have to say that the Bulls' demise has very little to do with him - he may have had some involvement in signings, but when the Bulls looked to the likes of Sheriffe and Worrincy it wasn't like they chose them ahead of signing Josh Morris and Nathan Hindmarsh.

| Quote: Adeybull "Why should I? That has nothing to do with the point I made.
I'll answer your new point though.
He signed a number of relatively cheap players to fill out the squad. He had to. He inherited from Noble a youth development programme in tatters (he's fixed that, and the results are starting to flow through now) and a serious lack of available funding (the club is not able to spend the salary cap - some at Leeds know a major reason why). With the funds he has had available (apparently we have the fifth-lowest player spend in the competition), to be able to bring in Orford, Kearney L'estrange, Hall - and of course Menzies - is nothing short of amazing.
Platt is doing fine in the centres now (at fullback he struggled once his confidence was shot) and Sherriffe has done much better this year after an awful 2009 (albeit with relapses). He was one of our best performers in the opening games. Worrincy went seriously backward after a great start last year, and at present the jury is still out, to put it kindly. Young Whitehead has displaced him. None of them will be major costs to the club.
And as for the MPS creature who so kindly called me a sad twät - well I've been posting on here for many years, and have seen any number of fekkwits like him come and go. The reason I had the age facts was because an even bigger perennial fekkwit on TotalRL was incessantly pedalling the same nonsense. I decided one day I'd show him up for the sad twät HE was.'"
Thankyou for your glowing tribute, I am moved.
No need to explain yourself & Don't let a bit of name calling get under your skin, its only a forum. Me, I am a perennial fekkwit (i like that, I must use it sometime!) who like others will come & go, but if for some reason I am still on here in years to come quoting averages of antipodeans please me, as then I will be a perennial fekwit & sad tw*t.

| Oh Dear. I came in early to catch up and whilst having the regulatory cuppa logged on for 5 mins.... never a good idea!
Its hilarious to read on our Forum, the much despised Southstanders, a pair of gormless Bulls supporters attempting to bolster McNamara's status, when every real Bulls supporter that I talk to can't wait for him to depart! And has been for quite a while.
Yes Adey, we know your a real supporter, but just lately you taken to talking out of your rectum. Kindly keep that sort of nonsense to your own Forum, where Bull is in great demand.
The list for the England job was pretty short, and I hope that Mcnamara is actually able to take the National team forward. Which failing Rugby team he previously managed is irrelevant now.

apparently, you just have...... ohhhhhhhher, major footstomp methinks. I don't think MacF generally bans folk on Southstander simply for talking nonsense, after all Danny and Damo are still with us! And I for one have always enjoyed the banter with opposing fans, or the increasing sense of loss that your own particular crew feel at Odsal.
As Rugby League's premiere team, until we drop to Bradfords standard, I reckon we can simply extract the Michael from those less fortunate fans who come on our board.
And it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy at times sweet cheeks!

| Whether we agree with him or not the tiny minority of us SOuthstanders with a brain would welcome a contribution from Adey a damn site more than from Billy Rhino.

mmmmmmm, well, he did claim to be a big boy Gareth, so I reckon my chunky chum, we can guess in which form you would like to be receiving that particular contribution!

| Your right with the name McBanana, What a numpty he is He needs to start coaching his own smelly team first.
Like people have already mentioned, Brian McDermott would have been a better choice in my opinion.

Just to keep you updated - only fair and proper since you obviously take an interest in these guys.
All three had good games today (in fact all the 17 did..). Sherriffe scored two tries that were far from easy to score - in all seriousness, he could have the makings of a TV-lite. In his break down the touchline he easily brushed Briscoe away, staying in the field of play before running in his first try. Worrincy did the job expected and did not put a foot wrong - which for him is as much as any of us can hope for. His break set up Sherriffe's first try. Platt had another totally decent game at centre. Sherriffe and Platt still need to run forwards a bit more than sideways at times, and superstars they are not. But objects of derision? Selection for the team currently 5th in the table suggests that would hardly be justified, wouldn't you say?
You'll also be pleased to hear that one of your alumni, a Mr Scruton, put in a massive hit today on a certain Joel Clinton that was at least the equal of Sam's on FuiFui MoiMoi. We are talking total flattening here. The guy has been massive for us - thank you for letting us have him.
Apologies to everyone else who this will be of no interest to, but I do think we should all recognise a responsibility to keep a fellow RL fan updated on matters he has shown an interest in?
As you were...

Thanks for the update
Will these reports be as forthcoming when Sherriffe and co revert to type? Namely ordinary SL players at best.
I look forward to it.

| Even ordinary (which I don't think Sheriffe is by the way) can be an improvement on what the reigning Champions have had available at times this season.

How's that compare?
Sherriffe is a 1st choice wing so who we may of had available at times is irrellavent.
