Fair comment guys. My main point was that the coach seems to have got over his desire to pick both in the 17 if fit. Whether we go for an impact back or an extra big forward (my preference), we are stronger.

Is it Hull on Friday next? There's still another game to go in this most hectic part of the season. I'd imagine coach McClennan is reacting to the Easter programme rather than abondoning playing Diskin and Buderus in the same 17 just yet.

Completely agree as long as Buderus is here and available for selection he will play/be selected more often than not.

I disagree. He was very direct from dummy half, and took advantage of some slack marker play on a number of occassions. Really helped us get a roll on in the first half

Diskin only made one run from dummy half in the first half.

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall several occasions of Diskin engaging the markers and first defender before putting the pass in, in the first half.

I may be equally wrong but thats also how I recall it.

Are you sure? I thought he did quite a bit of scooting in the first half.
