| Quote: The Brother "Think you will find the proble for England was Peacock,Smith,Muguire defending before Briscoe
The aussies found it to easy to get outside of Peacock who was playing 2nd row that day they east pass and draw on smith and mcguire, and thought Briscoe was let down by more senior players around him'"
yet it was Briscoe that the coach subbed at half time, leading to a far better looking defence in the 2nd half on that side. Go figure.

| Wasn't that the game where Mcnamara was in charge all week?

| With Donald out for 3 months then, surely we should look to recall BJB?

Don't need to saw it with my own eyes as i was at the game, and everybody who sat near us felt Briscoe was made the scapegoat and the real problem was Mcguire

You are talking about the most potent attacking player in the NRL who does this to the best defences in the toughest league in either code of rugby - sometimes no matter what you do it simply isn't sufficient.
The Aussies are so far ahead of England you could put whoever you wanted and Inglis would still do the same - the last 20 minutes in the final was the same as the first 20 minutes in the game at the JJB - the Aussies just upped their game and points came flooding - different defensive structure, different personnel, same result.

I hope we had the foresight for a recall clause

I am not sure how this would work. Is it better to recall a player, (who is getting first team experience in his chosen position to play in a position that he is not being lined up to play in in the future), or stick with a kid who may well play that position in the future?

According to the currently not posting Lord Percy, sending someone on a year's loan allows for immediate recall at any time. If you send them for a month, they are gone for that whole month, whatever happens.

| When Delaney is fit BJB will get no first team games. Leave him where he is for now.

| I dont see the need to recall bjb at this time when we have cover in coady and watkins. We have seen what watkins can do and coady, whilst not very fast, has looked very solid to me and thats all we need at this stage of the season imo

12 weeks out. Could be back for Bradford away on 23rd of May or the potential Challenge Cup quarter final the weekend after. if not it'll be Wakefield game at home at the start of the June
