Potless so far.
Four points clear after round eighteen with a points difference advantage of plus seventy eight (quick calculation) over Leeds to a two point deficit and minus sixty seven (another quick calculation.)
Let's hope he's up to the task.

| Back to the original thread title...Leeds tactics were superb. Really went well in the forwards and really put themselves about, without the usual penalty hammering. Finally some agression combined with discipline around the ruck.
Saints defended superbly to keep Leeds to 18. Having said that, a few little things go Saints way and they could have won the game as well.
Also, big respect to Sean Long, the guy is as tough as they come, but you have to wonder why Potter put him out there.

Because he's a big game player and a winner I guess. I had the game being decided by a drop goal and who better to have out there if it had come down to that.
However he didn't have his best night and the kick out on the full led to Leeds' winning try.

Would he have been able to see both posts?
I thought he had a poor game all round. Lots of dodgy passes, the fumble with the Leeds line open. Just all around out of touch. Although Pryce was fairly quiet so he did seem to be carrying a lot of the burden of playmaker.

It didn't stop Barrie McDermott kicking a goal for Widnes.

Barrie seemed to have uncanny depth perception, "McDermott didn't miss" was a regular from TV comentators during his career.
