Think you mean Millwall. He got 8 goals in 22 games there but 2 in 13 at Charlton.

Don't think Tres has it at all. He's as bad as Showumni. We don't need 2 dopes.

We've just got another striker in, so even taking Tres and Enoch out of the equation leaves us with four.
Don't think we need another!

| Kandol and Enoch aren't needed and are behind 3 maybe 4 strikers already, i'm surprised Bates didn't get rid and cut the wage bill.
When we had the good start to the season under Dennis Wise, Beckford and Kandol both got new contracts, how come Kandol got a year longer than Beckford? The best one got the shorter contract.
We've got plenty of options all over the park now and surprised a few more didn't get sold or loaned out. Sheehan went but i expected the likes of Lubo, Prutton and Kandol to go aswell rather than being sat on the bench or in the reserves all season but either way we've got a good enough squad to go up this season. Shane Higgs has had a good start also and i was glad he knocked Casper out of the team as it was only a matter of time.

| Just shows how little people watch football on here, lumping Tres in with Enoch is a total joke. Tres makes Enoch look like Pele.
Fortunately Grayson sees more of him than some of you.

I'd agree with that. Enoch's glaring weakness is his finishing - he wastes a host of chances for each goal but he's far more skillful than Tres.

Because Beckford probably always had one eye on moveing up the divisions with or without Leeds.

I think that's more the case. Kandol & agent will have known his limitations whereas Beckford & agent will have realised that he could comfortably play at Championship level. I would imagine that the guarentee of a very hefty signing on fee in the summer, especially when his next club have no 7 figure transfer figure to pay, will be Beckford's motivation for the remainder of the season. I can't see him staying at Leeds beyond the end of the season because they won't be able to match his next offered salary package. Hope I'm wrong.

Agreed we don't need Kandol, Dennis Wise must have been really taking the mick with that one giving him such a long contract. Kandol is far worse than Enoch though and the reason we can't get rid of him is because everyone can see how bad he is. He's punching above his weight being at a division 3 club as it is. Grayson doesn't have him in his plans so would be easier to pay him off and get rid!

Bang on!!
Even if we go up, he will leave.
We could offer to double or triple his wage......but a prem club would blow that out of the window, as they would not have to find 1/2/3 millon as a transfer fee..........this alone will also mean more clubs will be prepared to take a 'punt'.

| I'm not so sure.
As it stands Leeds can't match what he could reasonably expect to be paid. They've made an offer that's below what he and his agent probably rightly feel he is worth and he has rejected it.
What often happens in that situation is that the player will be unhappy and he and his agent will agitate to get a transfer - nice signing on fee for the player and an instant increase in wages. That doesn't seem to have happened here - all parties seem confident that he is focussed on playing for Leeds United for the time being. No bat and ball taken home and no disruptive comments in the media.
He's said he loves being at Leeds but no doubt has aspirations to play at a higher level and earn more money.
If Leeds are a championship club next season I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him accepting a higher offer from the club.

Watching him this season is like watching a different player, he is playing with a smile on his face, he is interracting with his team-mates more & his body language as a whole suggests he is very happy at the moment, something I haven't seen in Beckford before. However, I do think that this no signing of the improved contract saga is totally financial & agent led hence my belief that he will up sticks at the end of this season, promotion or not.

He's not spat the dummy so far - and thats costing him financially - I think he'd be happy on more money as a star in the chamionship rather than as a back up 'worth a punt' player at a Premiership minnow.
