The only logical explanation was that the ball was dropped backwards by a Celtic player and then incorrectly grounded by a Rhinos player.

I didnt see it as i thought it was a try but straight away my dad next to me said "thats a knock on" so i presum the leeds played knocked the ball on trying to ground it

The knock-on explanation was the one I mentioned at the time and it's still the only reason I can come up with.

Celtic player attempts to get rid of the ball by passing it backwards, hits Leeds hand before hitting the floor, where it was grounded correctly by a Leeds player. Result - knock-on, tap 20.

Just out of curiousity as a relative novice with this game. Is there no accidental off side in league because one of your guys ran right into a team mate and nothing happened?
Leeds were on fire and played some nice stuff, we showed some pride i think. Hope you guys enjoyed your trip and you'll be back next year. We'll have a slightly stronger team hopefully!

There is an accidental offside, yes. Can't remember the incident, but if it stopped a Celtic player making a tackle then I'd have expected it to be penalised.

Enjoyed the trip, as mentioned elsewhere the locals were only too happy to have a chat. In that respect it was like being in Perpignan, only one of the locations has easier to understand locals.

Without seeing the incident, it's not something you'd expect to see 'penalised' in league automatically unless an opposition player is hindered in his attempt to make a tackle because of it, then it would be deemed an obstruction.
