That was the very channel I was watching as the plug got pulled last night.
They had a closing montage of highlights since they started broadcasting. Based on that I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. |

Unlikely. They ended their coverage before Setanta bought the rights IIRC.

I can see from the listings that Setanta Ireland on Sky page 430 have The Footy Show,though its on FRiday at 10-30am as opposed to Thursday nights on Setanta 1 but they don't have any NRL games live over the weekend.I was hoping that they might show the odd game as well bearing in mind Setanta Sports have/had the matches

Its not. Its good news for those who enjoy watching American sports.
Hopefully Sky may take up the NRL again but I doubt it will be before the end of the season. As long as they dont bring Tulsen Tollett back though. |

Or Chris Warren. As Sky had given up the NRL before Setanta stepped in it's got to be a bit of a long shot them taking it on again now. |
