A two year ban will cost him the peak years of his career, and arguably when he's at the top of his earning potential.

Under WADA rules cocaine is defined as performance enhancing. Hocks test will be viewed as in competition. If he had been tested positive out of season it would not be performance enhancing. As it is the ban should be a mandatory 2 years. See Matt Stevens at Bath rugby for reference.

i think players in SL are pre warned when they will be tested (think 5 days notice so they will turn up), most performance enhancing drugs would be in the system anyway, but cocaine can be out of the system within 5 days, if this is so the he is even stupider than he looks, if thats possible.
