As a general rule the fewer Brits the better for my holidays. The only exception being a resort Danny & Emma recommended - Scala in Kefalonia - which was majority British but was on a beautiful island, had loads to do and it was all families and couples. We're hoping to go back there next year.

I was rather hoping for a small cottage on the cliffs at Robin Hoods Bay for a week myself, but since the robbing bas'tads at Scarborough Council have imposed incredibly high charges on their car parks there this year they can shove it where the sun don't shine.

If the redundancy package comes through I'll be p1ssing it all away in Edinburgh at The Fringe.

Yeah, that was Kosmar. We had booked with them, and have only just got our money back. We are now going with Thomson, and staying half way up the hill.

Liked the little fishing village just along from there too.

Loved Assos. Nice tavernas, great view as you drive down to it and swimming in the little harbour/bay was lovely. Liked Fiskardo too, but Scala was just a nice place to potter round in the afternoon or on an evening. Make sure you take Danny to the crazy golf place near the beach.

We were there for 2 weeks but still felt there was alot more we could have done - didn't get to Mellisani for a start, nor much of the peninsula where Xi beach was, even the forest and mountains in the middle of the island would be nice to walk in.

We have been three times and still haven't done the xi peninsula. In fact the only time we have been anywhere near it was with Captain Makis, (I think). Fiskardo is overrated. Assos I agree is beautiful. I also love Agia Efimia.
Mellissani is amazing. We still visit every year.
