Sounds like its going to happen though and like someone else we're booked in 5 mins away from the ground in Bridgend.
No doubt they'll confirm the change two weeks before the game
Can I cadge a lift

Remind me again what Celtic bring to super league?'"
Well thats why the rfl brought us to the SL to see what we will bring.
And to get more people following the Crusaders ( which doesn't seem to be working, you can thank WRU for that).
And we don't f*** off the away fans either.

| If you do go to Newport and plan to stay over I would recommend The Rising Sun at Rogerstone, Newport.
A very friendly family run hotel, comfortable, spotlessly clean and superb food.
We stayed there for all the Cadriff Chalenge Cup finals and the Cardiff Magic weekends.

Have you or have you not changed the venue after a number of away fans have made their arrangements?
a simple yes or no will suffice.

| Was it the Wakey or Cas supporters a few years ago who booked accomodation in Spain for their SL match against Catalans because thats where the game was originally planned, only to have it moved back to France later ?
Oh how we all laughed then...

| i thinks its a good idea to spread it about, but at least announce it before the season so people aren't booking hotels to the wrong area

Given that the Catalan region spreads all the way down to Barcelona, I'd be happy to see some of the Catalan home games move to some venues in Northern Spain too.
After all, it's where half of us will be spending most of the time / staying when we're all there in the next couple of weeks !

It caused a huge problem to the gathered masses from the team formally known as "Calder" though, if you don't put a free bus on to take them somewhere they stand around on street corners blaming the council.

| I see from the club website that Sky has moved the Quins game to a 6pm kick off, I guess that this could caause problems for folk wanting to go there & back in the day by train.
The customer always comes first but only if you're a Sky customer.

I would say now that it is more or less impossible to do it there and back in the day by train, as the last ones off Kings Cross back to Yorkshire on a Saturday is 20.00 to Leeds and 20.30 to York and beyond.
Given that the game will finish at nearly 19.45 and with a journey back in to the capital to negotiate, I'd suggest little or no chance on either of those.
One option that might be available is I think a later train to Sheffield from St Pancras ... However, this would mean driving to and from Sheffield and leaving the car there for the day and quoshing any chance of a few sherberts on the day out.
