Maybe they want rid? It does strike as strange ploy. there is no doubt that Buderus on paper is a better option than Diskin, but they are very similar, and not a pair like Cunningham/Roby.
Having said that, the PTB this season seem to be significantly slower than last season, maybe this is being slowed by refs/coaches to allow our gamke to become less focussed on quick plays, and more focused on skill.
If so, the likes of Roby could find their effectiveness cut dramatically.

| Quote: rpw "Cheers.................Roby + Cunningham compliment each other, not really sure Doskin and Buderus do...but time will tell, hope i'm wrong.'" thats why leeds where testing out having them both playing at once, one either side of the pitch, at the start of the year.
but as our forwards have gone hiding at the minute, its not the best opportunity to carry a hooker in the second row. even i do think diskin would go well in the second row, since he seems to likes playing 'look at me i'm hard'*
*for those who don't know, this is where you try bump as many defenders off as possible in a row/game. so rather then breaking the first tackle, and then passing to support players or going forward, you turn around and run straight at another defender, see if you can bump them off too.

i think he offers more than disco out of dummy half already mate!! i also have been impressed with his defence.
for mine he was probably our best against salford(but that wasnt hard)

When he came on against Salford he lead the kick chase every time. The guy played his nuts off. His little break was a good play and we ill see that more often in the games to come. He was constantly talking and organising the defence. Buderus will be great for us.

Million pounds a year. Honest. It's why Smith won't re-sign. Thinks he should get same. Donald doesn't. He's happy with his half mill.
True story.

£4,000,263.45 per game.
True story.
Seriously though, I doubt he's over for the weather. And time will only tell if he will become a good, bad or indifferent Leeds player. However if he does fall into the latter categories, that's bad enough. But then when you consider value for money that could make it a whole lot worse. For example, consider Brett Mullins and Shane Millard. Both ozzies who didn't set the world alight in a Leeds shirt, well were frankly awful and both stayed for just 1 year IIRC. Now which stands out as the worse signing? You hear the Mullins references alot, not so much the Millard ones.

i agree, the fans go on saying "he is on this, he is on that" just presuming he is over here for the Money. I suspect Buderus has made a lot of money playing for the Knights, maybe some Aussie's come over here for the experience, culture and chapter in the familys life. Yes most come over for the £££££ but not all do. The fans can only speculate.

I imagine that he is over for the money, and will probably have got a decent increase for coming here. He may not be paid as much as some at Leeds and SL, but he won't have taken a pay cut.
