Smithy's problem is that he's a fullback playing winger. ATM we don't seem to have a genuine stand-up challenger for the left wing, as Williams, Hall & Smith are all not doing so well. BTW why hasn't williams had a chance? scored something like 10 tries in '06 for us & not seen since-bizarre.

Correct me if I'm wrong ....but didn't Williams recently move to Newcastle RU ? "Left wing"? Nowt wrong with our left winger as far as I can see.

I stumbled across it while searching for the attendance thread last night.
There's some nice little cameo appearances in there:
A Cas fan thinking Smith could be heading their way and contracts meaning nothing yet Smith is still here honouring his despite the Union season starting last week.
Emma finding criticism of Smith where non existed.
David stuffing up Ablett's contract position.
L4L just being here - I miss him
Not forgetting our Tykes friend who didn't rate Hall on the left. I think he should stick to union. |
