Team spirit is more important in RL than perhaps another sport. I fear for ours a bit now.. Some are going, some probably fear they are going, some are staying but playing poorly. A lack of confidence and A lack of on the park leaders. Be glad with any kind of win in this one.

Yep big difference playing a top 4 team in a CC semi to playing a championship team at home. Obviously the attitude has to be right but should be a given really. if it is we should have enough with a bit to spare.

I wish I was as optimistic. Our confidence is shot, and our concentration and attitude has been terrible. At least in 2016 we hit a bit of form going into the M8s. This year we're going into them as a shambles, and it's very difficult to turn that mind set around.

I have seen nothing in recent weeks to suggest we are going to stroll through the qualifiers. Earlier in the season we were losing, but pushing the top sides all the way. Those days are long gone. We are devoid of confidence and ideas and there has been no improvement since McDermott was sacked.
I would settle for a win of any kind.

The next 7 games are purely about the results, any improvement in performance is nothing other than a bonus. We should beat Halifax, London and Toulouse, probably also Toronto at home. That leaves us needing to beat one of the SL sides (Widnes?) and we are safe.

You currently remind me of us (hull kr) in 2016. Sacked coach, club great I'm charge fans with A lot of confidence with no real reasons to be. That went from bad to worse and the relegation became almost inevitable. You need an experienced coach and sir Kev ain't that.

Watching it today as a neutral that is what struck me the most. But in my opinion that is one of the easiest things for a good coach to rectify and that will lead to an improvement in all the other aspects.
I think kev is good enough to do that.

We've got to learn to walk before we can run. Concentrate on doing the basics right, especially in defence, and use pressure to create points if we con't do it with skill. I think we should stay up, but we now have the definitive answer to our problems this year - our squad is rubbish.
