| With Hall and T briscoe at full fitness and Handley/golding in the academy I am not sure we need him enough. Handley deserves first choice on any free wing position imo.

| Also how much longer can we rely to flog mags/burrow/jjb/Delaney? But reckon we will as seems unlike us to ditch a load at once.
So pretty much the same squad (if we retain our status). New half/back hooker and a couple of forwards (second-row) please

| Think Friday showed that if we make sure we have a proper number 9 that brings balance to the side and allows others to play their roles properly then he clear out might not need to be as big as people thought. Watkins looked a different player not having to cope with the hiding 3 HB's and hopefully it helps McGuire when he returns.
With Ablett and Ward returning then Delaney and JJB are fine if not required to do too much. In 5 days JJB has done 87 tackles with only 1 miss. You don't easily replace that in a Salary Cap sport.

| The number one need is at halfback. Sure you can go into detailed analysis and pick possible holes and weaknesses in the back line and forward pack, but a good set of halfbacks can make a poor backline and forwards look half decent and poor halfbacks vice versa.
It's a gun position which glues the team together and takes it to another level, when you have top quality ones. Playing well, the backline and pack are comparable with most in super leage, but it is at halfback now where we fall down.
We either bring a star in (I don't know who, or where from) and continue our style as we are, or we adapt our style to a more systematic approach similiar to that of wigan. Notice how wigan have a big squad and never seem to badly affected by injuries because players just slot into the structure, rather than relying on brilliance from individuals that can't be replicated by players coming in.

| I think we don't need to be getting rid of to many at once otherwise we will be right back at the start like we was this season. Imo I think Achurch going, Falloon gone, Baldwinson to go and also Mullally( he isn't really a youngsters now he need to be playing first team and I don't think he will get in our 17 week in week out). And possibly releasing Delaney if he can't get right, I think we need to keep Mags, Burrow and JJB as long as possible because they are really all that's left of the golden generation and they all could do another season I reckon, I think if we sign a quality half back for next season and hopefully can keep Segeyaro and also get a top quality prop I think we will be up there again next year.

Good post but we need fresher half-backs. Mags/burrow been 6/7 positions 10/12 years so due/need a change

| Well Achurch and Falloon have already gone/going. Looks like Baldwinson will also be on his way.
I'd be looking to re-balance the back row by shifting Delaney on and committing Ferres to a longer-term deal.
If there's an opportunity to pick up an outstanding half-back, I'd be looking to renegotiate McGuire or Burrow's contract to reflect their diminished role in the squad.
Simply promoting from the Academy or sniffing around the NRL bargain basement isn't going to cut it.
Don't be surprised to see Zak Hardaker back in a Leeds shirt in 2017. Still not convinced any NRL club will be prepared to meet GH's valuation.

| Again because of the potential of playing with a good and proper number 9 I'd stick with Mullally for a 2nd season, bound to help all props.

| Delaney has 2 yrs left on his deal. Not sure how you can cut him tbh. Yeah we cut Falloon but he had 3 months on his deal so could be paid off with minimal impact on the salary cap. 2 years worth of pennies is significant and would hit us hard in the cap.
I keep hearing JJB is finished but i keep watching the guy flog himself thru 40 tackles every single week. His workrate has been fantastic.
Once season is over things will pan out. Maybe 1 or 2 will want to leave and then we can look to bring 1 or 2 in. Otherwise there wont be the mass overhaul people seem to be calling for but isnt needed in my opinion.

After today's performance I agree - Zac looks well off the pace of the intensity of the NRL at the moment. I would be surprised if he gets selected for the next Penrith game - if he does it will be on the wing.
If he can hack it there he will come back a much better player - the stuff he can get away with in SL just doesn't cut it in the NRL.
Leeds need a half back, a hooker, a prop and a back row. Mullally isn't good enough at this level and neither is Singleton and Galloway will be a year older/slower - Cuthbertson looks a shadow of the player he was, the second row looks weak if JJB/Delanney and Ablett all remain.
Cameron Smith is an unknown at this level and Stevie Ward could struggle on his return given the severity of the injury.
The lack of quality youngsters coming through is starting to hurt now - no squad fillers, no potential.

| With a fully fit forward pack next year we should be/hopefully looking at
Garbutt Segeyaro Singleton
Ferres Ablett
Ward
Cuthbertson,Galloway,Singleton, Mullally,Oledzski,ormondroyd
Keinhorst,JJB,Delaney,Walters.
I still think we would be stronger if we replaced one or both of Delaney and JJB due to their age and injury problems and Burrow due to needing a new better HB. If we sign one then id rather see us use an 80min hooker and the bench spot for Lilley, Cameron or another forward.

I'm not sure that it will come down to the Rhino's valuation of Zak Andy
I heard that Zak had to get out of the country to clear his head and that his loan deal at Penrith was the perfect fit for all parties
But with the previso that IF Zak ultimately got a long term contract from an NRL side on the back of his outstanding performances at Penrith, and that the terms were also agreed with the Rhinos then he could leave the Rhinos for the NRL club of his choice for 2017
IMO Zak will be back at the Rhinos for 2017

| Achurch leaving and a decent hooker in is all we need in my opinion. Obviously Segeyaro staying would complete the need for a hooker.
With Stevie Ward back it means we can give longer breaks to players like Ablett, Delaney and JJB who can all still play a role IMO.

| Tbh i'd be surprised if an NRL had to match the 300k. Not saying any club will but if they did offer 200-225k then GH might do the deal.

| With a decent halfback I reckon we could see this team fly again. Soward is the obvious choice if he's not already signed a contract for another SL club for 2017.
Another option would be Corey Norman, linked recently to Hull. Cracking player and also Segeyaro's best mate. Would demand a big wage tho, not sure if Gawy would pay up. Could be a great way of getting Segeyaro to stay on tho.
