I'll have been 18, with hopes and dreams and having been about 4 weeks into my life living in Leeds, Leeds, Leeds...

That is a great one, Lionarmour. That was back in the day when baseball was on Five and I used to watch it into the daft hours on a regular basis. Starting at Uni helped that continue.
In other news, it was the day that Lionel Messi made his competitive Barcelona debut - there is an article in the Guardian about it.

Why? What else can they be doing in the off season to talk about. Plus I think we all know that wih the addition of the CC that this 'generation' is finally coming to an end......for too long people have been too preoccupied with fretting about what will things be like when they're gone.....let's spend our time celebrating the fact that they were here instead. |

Most of it on Twitter is Lads from that team reminiscing on winning SL that year.Most of them were very young and they are getting back in touch with each other.I cant see anything wrong with that

I quite enjoyed the facebook stuff. 2004 was a good year in many, many ways, and I remember it fondly.
At the time of the GF I remember everyone thinking we could be seeing the beginning of a dynasty that could continue to bring success and silverware for the next decade.
Sadly we would only win 5 of the next 10 Grand Finals, 3 World Club Challenges and a Challenge Cup. No wonder the doom and gloom on here has been so unrelenting.
