LUFC have used the ESU a fair bit over the past few weeks haven't they?

Like you say Matt Mr.Bates has installed some boxes up there!

Yep the east stand has opened and the centre two blocks dont seem to be available. Just had a scout around and it seems the tickets being offered for most blocks are to the rear so it looks like it should fill up nicely

Just got 4 tickets in the upper tier. Was the 2009 final a sell out? Its will give the lads a right buzz when its sold out.

Edit: attendance in 2009 was only 31K.

Edit
I might be wrong but I think that was a sell-out as the upper tier was closed then.

I will be otherwise engaged on Sat night, with my phone turned off, and away from TV screens. I will watch the game around 10:30 hopefully having avoided the scores!!

And then we have to cope with Headingley Carnegie for the WCC when we could probably do the same.

I sat there for the Melbourne game, in the face of that almighty gale. The seats were soaking wet even before the game. Had to nick virtually all the bog-roll from the toilets to dry them.

I've watched amateur rugby on Saddleworth Moor in the middle of winter and I reckon even that was more comfortable than the first few rows of the East Stand at Elland Road on 29 February, 2007.

I wouldn't want to sit there again....ever!

Our group was sat in the West stand lower tier and bah'eck! that was a cold one. Not as cold as the walk back into Leeds, stopping off at the commercial pub where LFCPatriotRhino was nearly mauled by Lorimers dog.

happy days.

Not sure what you were sat watching at Elland Road that day, but it certainly wasn't a World Club Challenge! icon_wink.gif
