| Do you think Hauraki and Delaney are injured beyond playing, or are we just playing it safe? Good to see Watkins and Pitts getting some game time although Pitts could end up 18th man.....again.

He's doesn't seem to get consecutive games under McDermott. FWIW I rate him and think there is potential there for him to develop into a JJB-type player.

There's real potential there! He had a couple of real decent games earlier on this year.

That would be nice. Looks a more natural athlete than JJB to be honest, although that isn't the be-all and end-all, obviously.
Still makes me laugh at my judgement to this day that I really didn't see JJB making it as a first-teamer when he first came out of the academy.
Epic scout me.

Looked quite good on the small amount of game time he's had.
Are there good reasons for not giving him much game time opens another altogether bigger question how does McDermott select his team?
Glad to see McShane is back in the squad although that doesn't mean he'll play either if what 'SuperKev' said in the comments of YEP article.
Probably naff the younger ones off and they'll look to a club that will be prepared to give them more of a chance.

| Pitts still has plenty of potential imo and if we are signing Griffin and retaining bailey i see Pitts getting a SR spot before Kirke every time.
Also with the expected departure of Ali he may see more game-time next year.

| I'm still in shock at having to pay 20 quid for a ticket to possibly the worst ground in the league. Just about the costliest this season.

New grounds don't build themselves you know...
To make up for it, does that church over the road still do cheap beer on match-days?

I'm not sure. As it's our last trip to the place, barring some play off miracle, we'll probably go for a nostalgic last pint in the pub on the corner, which we affectionately refer to as 'the Jockey', in honour of it's Chatsworth-esque regulars.

They do when you get £20m from Salford Council and Peel... it is the rumoured £800k per annum rent that will mean it will by way more than £20 next season!!!
However, I am going to the match to say good bye to the old girl... I have enjoyed watching games at the Willows over the years.

I was saying the same thing to Tad this morning mate caught me of guard but when you think they charge the same for the WT at HQ we can't really grumble can we?

| Salford was my first proper away game as a young Leeds fan (I don't count a game at Elland Road against Hunslet). That was either a league or cup game in 1987-88. I recall Gibbo getting interception try. I wonder if TVOC can oblige?

I think they were my first "away" game too - only it was a Regal Trophy semi and it were only at Valley Parade if memory serves, so not very far away....
