Don't think his age has any relevance. You don't stop being world class just because your over 30! Would've been nice if one of our younger forwards had taken the opportunity to fill JP's void but they haven't/can't. Buderus & Kylie aside our pack has been a huge disappointment this season (with 2 quality forwards as coaches I expected much better) so I fully agree with Damo, JP's return is our only hope of salvaging something from the season - and yes - we are definitely clutching at straws.

That's probably my fault, I let Damo get away with using Wigan as a Challenge Cup semi final opponent in a previous article.

The point re-Peacock holds fairly true in both Challenge Cup Quarter Final and Semi Final. Inspirational performances.

Hopefully Peacock will continue were he left of, seen as speed or quick footwork were never his major atributes as long as he can run I can't see why he can't offer exactly the same as he did before his injury.

When the whistle blew on the 25th September last year, the day Wigan beat us to progress to the Grand Final I said that our season will start next May. I still hold true to that. At best, I think all we can look forward to this season is maybe a trip to Wembley to right last years poor performance. Having said that - I am really looking forward to many "I told you so's!!!" should anything else happen.

I agree that only Buderus and Kylie have shown any real effort in the pack but I just hope that JP doesnt come back too soon as we are a lost cause without him.

Think it is a bit ott being called saviour of the season but he will definatley make a massive difference to our team (hopefully) if he comes back anything like he was before injury.
