We are still a prop short.

I'm still hoping for another quality one coming in

Have a feeling that this is it for the start of the season with the possibility of a mid season Ali/Segayero type signing.

Think we are done, hopefully Furner can whip us into shape, we may get some space mid season when some of those not wanted get the message that they will not be played and will be prepared to move on.

We are definitely a good prop short for me but I have the feeling we r done due to not offloading a couple more.. Can see a mid season signing coming though

I hope we do sign a prop but if we aren't able to get one now why would mid season be any different if the issue is nobody wants our squad fillers?

We were a prop short at the end of the season.... even more so now Garbutt has left,

8 interchanges, not sure whether yesterday's heavyweight metre-munchers will be quite the asset they were. I'm sure we'll have done some analysis on how effective short minute props are likely to be next year. Maybe our forward signings reflect the conclusions reached and there never was great desire to sign garbutt mark II.

Think this is a spot on post, Hall definitely better in the tight situations as Les would just try trample where as Hall has more of a finishing mind. Some good opinions, no right or wrong just peoples opinion

I too agree you look a prop short I will be disappointed as a neutral if Merrin ends up at prop

I can see Peteru playing prop next season as a stop gap.
Would rather we kept Garbutt or sign another prop as I don`t see Donaldson as the answer to our propping situation.

Props for next season in no particular order are: Cuthbertson, Singleton, Oledzki, Peteru, Crosby.

In addition we have Mullally and Holroyd as back up. I think we’d all like to see another quality prop come in, but we’re not absolutely desperate and we won’t see another unless one of the above leaves.

I think you will find JJB will be playing prop to be honest.

Peteru is a prop and was signed as a prop. he was starting to look decent back end of last season with games under his belt, i expect a big season from him next year.
