| This year is harder to call than the last 3 I think. I don't believe there is one genuine "third" strong team that can match Saints and Leeds consistancy, but if you look at the games lost over the season (including the CC semis) it is obvious that there are some good teams out there who can upset anyone. I would even count Bradford in that (should they make the  . Bradford have beaten us and Saints and are (yes Mick Gledhill) looking like they are getting a bit of form on.
The playoffs are as Tony Smith mentioned on Friday, about which teams handle the pressure best. In that department we do have an advantage, but this year I think there is a lot more confidence from the likes of HKR, Hudds, Wigan, etc. that they can challenge anyone.
I see it as tougher to win this year, and if we don't then it may say more about how the cap is finally levelling up teams than that Leeds have underperformed.
Nobody has won 3 titles in a row, it would be an awesome achievement, and so the flip side is that not to win this year could hardly be called a disaster. |

Leeds are streets ahead of anyone else in the competition and anyone who things otherwise is deluded.
Leeds would also win the NRL if they had the opportunity and my opinion is that the WCC should be changed and Leeds play the 2 SOO sides as warm ups before taking on Australia in the real WCC Final.
Leeds would, I expect, win that by a good 18-24 points.

Attendance - 112k (boosted by telling the HKR fans they were the stand in side in case the Leeds bus broke down).
