In other news seen a report from Aus on social media tonight stating Tetevano is struggling to get a visa and could still end up staying at Penrith....we will have to hope it’s rubbish as if true we are royally screwed

Tetevano not coming would be dire, and would show us up once again, this time round 2 props short

Surely we sorted his visa out before signing him?

In a recent interview agar made it sound like it was just a formality.

Honestly think we could kiss goodbye to prospects this year if Tetevano doesn't come AND we've down an Ava from last year. We'll be able to field a side but that pack is underpowered up front for sure - even with Tet we're still short.

Prior is best at LF for me, even if he plays more in the middle late game. He has fantastic hands actually, couple of passes he flung out last season really caught my eye.

What we lack is simple directness and momentum gathering - and some whack in D. Been saying this for ages.

Mik and Tommy aren't anywhere near their peak as props yet, although both fantastic prospects. We should have two seasoned veterans to partner them. I think the club has alluded to this, but the fact remains after 2 years we haven't got this key foundation sorted out. Ava was perhaps "one of those things" - really solid signing but not settled. Merrin was a waste of time - I know that's not popular but I never thought he was the type of player we needed technically, even if he's a positive bloke and all that.

Easier said than done but hopefully we can bring in someone else this year - even if it was mid-season and we keep our quota and cash for that, we would be a chance for back end of the season at least.

And Agar, please keep Hurrell with Briscoe on that right hand side.
