Don't be daft. Our last few forays into the NRL market have been pretty disastrous. Sezer, Austin, Tetavano, and Fusitua ( through injury) were all really poor. But I'll give the current lot more than five weeks before I start nit picking. Collectively they have improved us so far, and they'll get better.

| My opinion of our O/S players:
Miller (keep, but hope he can also defend as well as attack)
Fusitua (injured too much, replace)
Momirovski (will be a good solid player when he finds his feet, no preaseason so understandably behind)
Croft (sensational, the most exciting half we have had in years)
Frawley (I'm concerned he's not up to it for a club like ours, but too early to really tell yet)
Martin (Best kicker in the league and a good player in the backs or pack)
Lisone (would like to see him play for longer, but is OK when he's on the pitch)

So far this season I haven’t made any major criticisms of the current playing squad. I have however questioned the coaches ability to unlock the opposition’s defence when we are on the 25 yard area. Hopefully in the future he may rectify that situation.

Dont think it was worthy of a red at all and he's not even been cited for it, but there was a tackle where he did some weird roll and twisted Dodd's ankle for no apparent reason

Ian Smith the former referee commented that it was nothing at all, Lomax (I think) was tackled by two Leeds players, Croft from the front, and he crumbled in the tackle. Play On.'"
Ah, guess I missed this one myself!

Typical saints trying to get players sent off for no reason

I have bizarre hunch we may win against saints. Based on the deeply flawed theory that saints can’t improve much after last Friday. We on the other hand have much room for improvement.

| Looks like Bentley, Momorosvki (with a slight question mark) and Lisone are all good to play.

Think there is reason to be optimistic. We look like we'll only be missing Fusitua and we should be used to that. I thought Rohan’s selection of Edgell on the bench was the biggest contributer (aside from O'Connor's clanger) to last weeks defeat. We just didn't have the forwards on the bench to keep us in good field position. This week that should be far less of a problem. That said, they'll always be favourites till we actually start to beat them regularly.

| Hopefully Croft is over illness pr whatever it was and Ruan can move back to the bench.
I'd rather go with mik and Sangare with Holroyd and Lisone on the bench with Bentley and Ruan

| I said before Friday that I could not see us beating Saints twice and thus, if I had a choice, winning the Challenge Cup game would be my preference.
I am concerned that we through a lot at them in the first 30 and saw no result come of it, can we match that intensity and for longer this week? I am worried we start weaker and Saints see us off early doors. Likewise, Leeds are more than capable of winning if they play well and Saints play not as well.
Lisone and Momorovski would be helpful and Croft and others free of illness. Could make the difference less and no silly mistakes from O'Connor defensively.

Personally if all are fit I'd leave out young O'Connor. Ackers plays the majority of any game and Bentley is capable of covering for him while he has a break. That would allow for a bench of Holroyd, Lisone, Goudemand and McDonnell.

| We can’t keep going with Goudemand at Prop, he’s very willing but makes no impact with the ball and we can’t afford this. He’s a back rower, of the type we have many.

He's both, and we'd still have 4 natural props.
