We have a better squad than last year and we did okay last year didn’t we? This isn’t football manager, it takes time to rebuild and reshape, 3-4 years to get rid of contracts and get the right people in, bring young players through.
We are not at the level of Saints and Wigan, we won’t be for 2 years minimum. That is the harsh reality of the situation. Changing coach or DOR or whatever isn’t going to speed that up, all it does it slow it down.

Unfortunately this is a results business.
Results and performances are not good enough at the moment.
And like I say, despite the injuries, we are looking like a team that are not being coached.
Agar might be a nice bloke, but that means nothing if you finish in the bottom4.
Check out what Hull and Wakey think of Agar.
They definitely think he’s out of his depth.
You bang on about 10 injuries.
We realistically had 5 starters missing. Hudds had 4 missing and they’re not crying about an injury crisis.
All clubs have to be able to cope with injuries.
We have decent players who look like they don’t know what to do.
That’s about the coaching.
I’m not calling for his head now like some.
But if we finish bottom 4 in a relegation battle would you seriously be happy if he stays as head coach next year?

I think we challenge for 4th or 5th at full strength. Its easy to be pessimistic at moment but the squad really isnt as bad as it appears at minute.
Problem is by time players return others will be out.
In 2 games time Tetevano, Myler and Gale should be back so lets see how we look then. We are clearly badly lacking those 3. As ive said before with Mikolaj, Prior and Tetevano on the field our pack can match most.

If Martin d leaves then a strong running second row is a must to work alongside Walters and Mellor.

Ooops forgot Tetavano who isn`t injured.
Who else is a real loss that would get into the 17?

Huddersfield had all of their first choice spine players playing in the correct position. Leeds had none. Massive difference in the two sides respective strengths. Did you really expect Leeds to win this match before kick off? I certainly didn't, and regardless of performance, I was very surprised to see they were still in in the context until the last kick of the game.

No, I didn’t expect us to win.
And it doesn’t bother me that we lost.
It’s the lack of shape and organisation that is the problem.
We know the team during the week, so what are they working on?
Other, so called weaker teams in the comp look so much more organised and disciplined than we do. But they don’t have the same level of quality.
Watching the highlights, the shape of our back line was really poor again.
We can’t blame that on the injuries.

Tetevano best position is prop imo don’t believe we’d get the best out of him playing as a ball handling big 13 he’s too good at prop, hitting the line hard is what he does best

I think that`s a fair comment.
However most on here last year were saying how poor Lui is and now due to us losing and playing badly he is needed in the team.
We brought Eastmond in for Lui which at the moment looks a poor signing.
I would say Myler, Gale, Estmond/Lui, Tetavano and Smith are the 5 who would play every week.
Personally I would have Newman in the 13 when fit and Holroyd.
But not sure the coach/Kev would do.

I get what you are saying , but I would argue that it is the spine players who do just that. If none of them.sre playing, where do you start? Along with a few others I will reserve judgement till we have two halves and a regular full back on the field. Just praying that Oledski and Prior don't get crocked in the meantime. They have given everything over the last few weeks.

| Quote: Marty Grrrrrrrrrr! "Weve got Myler and Walker out who are our main 2 full backs. Take Zak.and French out of Wigan and Coote and Welsby out of Saints.
Newman is missing, a top young centre. Take Percival from Saints and Gildart at Wigan.
Lui and Gale are our main halves and McLelland is a young back up so lets take Hastings, Leuluai and Harry Smith out of Wigan squad and Fages, Lomax and Dodd from Saints.
Our main forward Tetevano, good player, is missing. I would say Walmsley is Saints equivalant and Bateman is Wigans marquee forward so take them out.
Holroyd is out as a young back up. So lets take Harvard and Lees out of there respective teams.
Cam Smith is out for us who is a regular in the 17 for us a young forward with potential so lets remove Shorrocks and Batchelor who probably arent at Cam's level.
Now how do Wigan and Saints look? Not too good but that being said we arent at Saints and Wigan levels anyway. We lost by 1 point away from home.
No team can handle the men out we currently have.
Lets hope bodies return asap.'" Well said.
Puts things in perspective

He has played two games with different half back partners, neither of which are first choice or probably even second choice. Different full backs neither of which first or second choice. If we sign a top level 6 for next year then we will need to get rid of Lui and Cam M which I think we will. As you say if Hurrell isn’t retained then maybe we have some cash to splash.'" Eastmond I'm sure will get better but if he doesn't then we should be looking for a six. I wouldn't resign Lui as I feel we can put his salary to better use.
