Maybe we could pool resources?

Are you suggesting a Maurice Lindsay style merger and a new logo of a rhino with his head in a pie?

| I’m not sure why some are so determined to play anyone and everyone out of position...
It’s very simple. The only proper props we have are Zane, Oledski and Holroyd. Prior is better at LF as was Merrin before him. You can’t compete with the top sides playing converted back rowers against the likes of Walmsley.
We need at least +1 specialist prop, and then one or two more Academy products/converters available to cover injury.

| Quote Simmo71="Simmo71"The Catalans play off game should be a wake up call.
You need 6 props - not all superstars necessarily, but you need 4 front line props for the 17 each week and 2 back ups.
We were blown away by Cats when we got a couple of injuries and that could happen regularly.
4 props including a 19 year old is suicide.
Again - we've lost 3 and only brought one in.'"
Correct. I worry that if we lose a couple of front rows to injury early doors we will get spanked and confidence will dip. Season Behind the 8 ball straight away.

| Think we should let Sunny and Agar worry about what we need. All I know is I'm confident we'll be competing at top end next year all comps...
Saints and Wigan are really not as good as some on here seem to think......

It is simple, but the club has signed one prop and let 3 out. Holroyd is the young gun academy product. There are no other young props who could play SL.
If we sign 2 more props great but realistically I can only see 1 coming in and a result, Agar will have no choice but to use Prior as a prop at times and then other players at LF. Martin captained PNG to a test win v GB from LF

Did you watch the Grand Final only 2 months ago?
We simply can't live with that level of intensity with the current squad.

| Think we will just get one more prop. We will likely run with two starting props (Oledzki & Tetevano) and one on the bench (new signing / Holroyd) with Prior to start at 13 and do a stint at prop during the game to allow Smith to move to 13.
That will leave us with one reserve prop (new signing / Holroyd) to allow for injuries and Prior and Thompson to cover where necessary.
Ideally, two new props would mean Prior / Thompson would not ever be required at prop. I think the 2nd prop signing would just need to be a squad filler.

| We need to hope Tetevano gets here and settles well and is happy. With the current COVID situation there has to be some risk attached to any new overseas signing for all clubs

| A new Prop is needed, I don't see any more coming in. With 2 decent 13s in the squad we have backup, the position is pretty interchangeable with prop these days, you very rarely see any high skill players there these days.
Also, people ruling out options as they're not an enforcer need to realise it's not 1998 any more. It's not about starting fights any more. Middles these days need to have immense workrate, durability and courage.

Correct. We’d have got soundly soundly beaten. Was as good a match as I’ve seen in a long time. I think what helped those teams is that they were largely rested going into it which gave a better product on the field but that’s a whole new thread
