| I'm gutted, deeply gutted all I want to do is get to wembley. You lot need to stop being so greedy and give someone else a chance!!!
On a serious note great turn out from your lot must have been at least 1800 our fan base needs to take a long hard look in the mirror. I don't know what the attendance was, but I'f hazard a guess at there being no more that 1000 Salford fans there

Not sure Clarkson bombed a try, i thought it was very well defended by Salford and i don't think a pass to either man would have seen them score. The poor part was not dummying then going for it, the awful part was allowing pattern to take the ball off him.
'"
Oh he 110% bombed it alright, it happened directly no more than 20 metres in front of me, worst thing was he saw Zak screaming for a pass but totally ignored him then lost it to Pattern, my immediate thought on this was he should be dropped for 6 matches it was that bad.

| Agree Shutterman it was definately a Clarkson Faux Pas.
It was a game to be best forgotten and move onto the next round.

The coach is been an absolute fruitcake at the moment. A championship win does not mean he is immune from critisism.
It was a poor performance, but the poor performance was down to tiredness combined with bloody awful playing condititions. Continually picking the same team every week is going to cost us bad. Not using one of your subs despite the tiredness is fruitcake.

| don't really see the point in picking the bones of a cup game, we're in the next round after a potential banana skin. That'll do for me

| Does anyone think it's possible that Brent Webb just had a bad day at the office? After the service he's given the club, to start suggesting that he lacks commitment after one poor performance is a bit disappointing if you ask me. He sometimes lacks a brain, and can be pretty poor when he's not on it. On the flip side, he's still a match-winner when he is on it. In truth, he's always been like that. Liability one minute, match-winner the next. Thankfully, he's been match-winner more often than he's been liability.
Against Catalans his timing joining the line was superb and he gave us an extra option in attack. We don't have another full back option who can do the job he does. Whether this is to be his last season at Leeds or not, he'd still be my first choice full back.

I do. Not his first and won't be his last, but as you say a gamebreaker on his day.

Yup. It was never going to be a pretty game.
But the whole point of a cup game is to progress to the next round. Which we have successfully managed to do. So job done.
Let Mac and co worry about the dissection of it.
Could be some very juicy quarters coming up. TV guys should be pleased.

Are the good days becoming less frequent of late? This is one I can't answer as I don't get to every game but he's been poor more often than not when I've seen him this year.

Sadly I fear Superman is not quite as Super as he was.
Having said that, until yesterday I thought he'd recovered some really good form.
Let's just hope yesterday was a blip. He wasn't the only one to look pretty indecisive at times.

| I always thought he should have been Spiderman, rather than Superman.
Peter Parker was a dweeb as well though, so the analogy stands.
