Agreed. I'm sure GH has got some players signed up for next year but he keeps his cards close to his chest. Remember Danny Buderus had been signed months before it was announced. If we get Griffin, Heighington and a quality, experienced centre that will be a start for 2012. However I don't know where he's going to get such a centre whose not under contract.

If we don't get Heighington does that mean that Ali has to have a new contract extension! The Rhinos need to sign 3/4 new quality playeers.

Now that all this years current squad have either been resigned or let go, the exceptions are Bailey and Lautiti. Are these negotiations been held up until we know if we've been successful signing Heightinton and Griffin ?

Senior gone great, but so should Kirke and Kylie also. I would rather have gone with kids than these players should there not be the quality replacements available.

Sure the players are a bit older and a few have gone but its still the bulk of that squad. They were pretty darn good not that long ago, so whats changed?

Ask yourself this, Do you really want BM out there snapping up players for next season i.e. players that he thinks are right for the job when he clearly doesn't have a clue at this level? I for one do not.

No we havn't. We last won the GF in 2009. In 2010 we were very lucky to finish 4th. This was before a new coach came on board.

No. I am saying, we hadn't just come off 3 GF wins which you had said we had. 2010 was a realisation for us that we were diminishing. We were lucky to finish 4th.

That happened without McDermott close to been here. The likely hood is that we would have been battling this season for 5th no matter who was coach. That to me is not good enough. This squad of players is not good enough. Let's wake up and get real before we look elsewhere.

Then we move to the new coach, who has been a big dissapointment and seems to be sinking fast. But let's not make out he has took us from GF winning to chumps.

This is actually a very fair point, and I stand corrected to a point, my original post was a little heavy handed. I think most of us saw the signs last season. In fact, if memory serves, last season was not unlike Murrays last season.

The problem is, like post Murray when we got that chump Lance, we have landed with another chump this time.

Dont get me wrong, I dont think for a second that every morning BM springs out of bed thinking 'Great, another day I can screw the Rhinos over', Im sure he is doing his best.

My ultimate opinion remains the same though. BM is not good enough.
